Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Voted one of the Gold Coast's most popular tourist destinations, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the crown jewel of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ] properties. As one of Queensland's earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: dedication to conserving our nation's Indigenous, natural and historic heritage and culture. With Blinky Bill now present for daily shows, the amazing viewing experiences available at the Wildlife Hospital and hundreds of native Australian animals on display in natural bushland and rainforest settings, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the ultimate holiday adventure for the entire family.

The Safari Segway is so fun, the staff is friendly but sadly can’t see much animal as the weather is warm most of them is hiding up.

Arrived at the Airport to try and find way to accommodation in surfers. Saw the counter for the gold coast shuttle that does pick up and drop off near your hotel from the airport and return (explained by the driver that they are not allowed to drop off outside the hotels but get you as close as they can). Great way to travel with luggage rather than having to bus it then tram it to your accommodation. Clean bus with comfy seats. Ring the day before to book your return trip to the airport. Make sure you know what time your flight is and if you have check in luggage then book the earlier transport. Bus a little noisy with the shuddering

Palm Beach Parklands

Reviewed By Zolll - Sunshine coast

Got a park quickly around 2pm. We ended up walking through the gate and qyickly realised it was a dog beach that side, lots of dogs and quite smelly so quickly turned back and took my 3 year old to the pirate boat park whilst the others went to the other beach for a swim. Eventually joined the rest of the family in the water and was impressed.Very clean and calm to swim and spend around 2-3 hours which they all loved and lots of fish to entertain. Lovely place to visit.

What more could you want, great for the kids, country town feel, nice Seating and viewing areas to see right the way up to Surfers Paradise, I have been coming here for 35 years and what stands out to me it’s its still as prestige as the first time I went there. The locals are so proud of their clean beach that they advertise it. Well done snappper rocks.
