Easy to get to with a car, you will be surprised by the quality of this free outdoor park. I was astounded at the size and presentation of the sculptures given the public can freely walk the grounds, and found it a really enjoyable stop on a trip from Northern Hokkaido to Sapporo. There is even a very pretty (though not very cheap) cafe in the grounds, and a shop where you can buy small replicas of some of the sculptures. Stunning on a sunny day.
