Great afternoon out , thoroughly enjoyable. Arrived for a Birds of Prey experience , quite a few in our group to start with and was not sure how much we were going to be able to do . However the staff were excellent in all people that wanted to handle the birds were given ample time and were able to spend time with different birds , Owls , Falcons and Hawks to mention a few. After a while the group was split into two one group continued with the birds while the others went to a flying display , then the roles were reversed . As for the flying display we were treated to standing in the arena firstly with an African owl flying and landing on your hand then afterwards an eagle do the same great to watch and take part in , again everybody had the opportunity. We also were able to watch the American Bald Eagle fly between the falconers. The staff were very friendly , helpful and knowledgeable and helped to make it a great time. Will come again.

Took the family to the Beefeater Restaurant, found on entering the park, for lunch, which was appreciated by all then decided to walk it off around the park and lake This park is well worth a visit A beautiful lake is the centrepiece and sets the scene and this is surrounded by the park This consists of a large area of grass (this was being cleared of equipment following a concert) but there was an enormous area for children to run about kicking a football or playing chase games There was also an area with weird park equipment which the children loved as it was so different There was also a couple of woodland walks which we ventured on These passed a hidden lake and had beautiful narrow walkways covered by overhanging bushes which formed an archway in places and made it all seem a bit fairytaleish. Quite idyllic We then stopped for a very nice ice cream from the small cafe on site Delicious All in all a good afternoons enjoyment was had by all Well worth a visit

A beautiful private garden nestling in the Great Ouse River Valley in Stevington, North Bedfordshire, open regularly to the Public from end April through the summer months on all Tuesdays and Bank Holiday Mondays in the afternoon 1-5pm; delightful home made teas served in the garden. Please check website for full details. Groups also welcome at pre-arranged times.
We visited Kathy and Simons' beautiful gardens on a very hot summers day with family and friends. We ranged from my 105 year old grandmother to our friends 13 month old grandson, but we were all very happy under the shade of the enormous fig tree. We were lucky enough to savour the delicious homemade carrot and marigold cake before wandering through the very pretty, unusual and interesting gardens. The owners were delightful, much more than simply hospitable. Hope to return soon for another Perfect Afternoon.

Bedford Park is quite simply a stunning park with plenty of space for picnics (no BBQs!) and long walks with your friends. Picking up dog poo is an absolute must as this park is immaculate!

I was bought a half day experience for my birthday. We (my wife was a spectator) arrived a bit early so we could look at the birds and what a lot to see. I don't think I have ever seen so many in one place from the Little Owl, through all the the Owls to Hawks to Eagles. All were beautiful. We were able to fly a Barn Owl, Blue Chilean Eagle, Bald Eagle and Golden Eagle. We also able to handle a number of other birds including a Red Tailed Kite and feed pelicans! Walking along pulling a dead deer while the Golden Eagle struck is something I will never forget. Thanks to Owen, Sarah and Julie for a truly memorable experience.

Beautiful woodland close to Houghton House. Great for a leisurely walk. The hills are quite steep and can be muddy and slippery if it has rained. The bluebells in early spring are abundant and look beautiful. They are a site of scientific interest.
