Ballybunion or Ballybunnion (Irish: Baile an Bhuinneánaigh) is a coastal town and seaside resort in County Kerry, Ireland, 15 km (9.3 mi) from the town of Listowel. There are castle ruins near the town, although all that remains is a single wall, and two golf courses in the area including the famous Ballybunion Golf Club, a top class Links course founded in 1893 and host course to the Murphys Irish Open in 2000 and Palmer Cup in 2004. According to the Central Statistics Office, Ballybunion had a population of 1329 in 2002.

Worth the drive to this Beach. It is a bit of a challenge to get down to it but so worth it. Mesmerizing is really the key word. I saw it at dusk and in the daylight and it was so different each time.

The Cliff walk is a beautiful scenic walk in Ballybunion that offers a stunning view of the Nun's beach, the Atlantic and some fantastic rock formations including an impressive sea arch and the 9 daughters' hole

Bromore Cliffs is a walk along the cliffs of Bromore with spectacular natural scenery. Breathtaking views of wildlife, hertiage and the Devil's Castle. Situated only a mile north of Ballybunion, Open daily from 10am to 6pm

Bromore Cliffs is just a mile from Ballybunion. 180 foot of sheer cliffs, sea stacks and sea caves and with views of the Devils Castle and the Bays below.The cliffs can be accessed through the farm of Michael a local landowner, for a small parking fee. Michael loves sharing his stories about the wildlife, the cliffs, and shipwrecks, the atlantic grey seals and bottlenose dolphins who sometimes appear.It is stunning.
