We walked here from the Hyatt Ziva, and it was fantastic! Just what we were looking for with regard to souvenirs - some traditional t-shirt type shops, but some actually fantastic artisan wares as well. We came away with some amazing Huichol bead art as well as some cheaper souvenir-type things. Try to find the seller near the center of the complex with the Huichol art and pottery next door. Definitely worth going to -

This is a great mall in te center of a waterfront restaurant / shopping area. It had everything that you'd be looking for, including Pandora. There's a regular mall area and a luxury side with the high end stores. They have beautiful Christmas decorations outside. They also have a play areas outside, on the second floor, for the kids. WTF burger is just outside the mall. Other feed places and ice cream are inside the mall. Very family friendly place.

Great Family Area recommend eating Antojitos Restaurants and El Molino for good pastries and coffee. Beer is cheap at Walmart like coronas for like $8.50 USA dollars.
