Bagan (Burmese: ပုဂံ; MLCTS: pu.gam, IPA: [bəɡàɴ]; formerly Pagan) is an ancient city located in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar. From the 9th to 13th centuries, the city was the capital of the Pagan Kingdom, the first kingdom that unified the regions that would later constitute modern Myanmar. During the kingdom's height between the 11th and 13th centuries, over 10,000 Buddhist temples, pagodas and monasteries were constructed in the Bagan plains alone, of which the remains of over 2,200 temples and pagodas still survive to the present day.

I had a little worry to find a van in Bagan for our group - 12 people until I found Mr. Phyo 's whatsapp phone number on tripadvisor. We discussed and kept contact frequently in around 3 weeks before trip. He provided us a bus for 2-day trip include pickup from bus station in early morning and drop-off at bus station in late night of the next day. Our 24-seaters bus has air-conditional, water. What a comfortable trip in hot days What we were impressed: On the day we met in Bagan, Mr. Phyo and his driver was ready and waited us at 4.00 am at bus station, 2 hours earlier than the time I told him. Actually, we were there at 5.00 am. Our driver Mr. Aung and his assistant are so nice and professional. At every temple we visit, he announces the temple's name and then the assistant prepares a small chair for us step up/down

We booked with Min for our driver and guide service whilst in Bagan, the guide Min assigned Ms.Mar Mar was a very knowledgeable and excellent tour guide. Ms.Mar Mar is also very good in getting prime spots for sunrise and sunset in Bagan. Highly recommend that u ask for Ms Mar Mar if you need a guide in Bagan.
