Standseilbahn Stuttgart

This is clearly something that few people take the time to find as when we visited there was only us taking the rice up to the top. Worth it just for the trip on the old wooden carriages and it is part of the city transport network so free to ride if you have a day (or longer) ticket

Easiest way to get to the castle if you’re already walking through Aldstadt. Reasonably priced ticket includes entrance to the castle, apothecary museum, and wine barrel (must pay additional at castle IF you want a tour of the castle). Multiple destination options

Feldbergbahn

Reviewed By karimmaarouf - Cairo, Egypt

An excellent skiing area, especially for a beginner like myself. I was surprised that i was so nice, given that it is only the black forest not the alps. There are plenty of slopes but seems the majority are not too difficult, which was great for someone in my level. Actually, there were quite a lot of people learning how to ski. I was lucky with the weather that day and got to see some amazing views of the black forest. One important tip if coming here on the weekend is to get there early. Best to be there by 8:30 to 9:00 as the parking can get very crowded and traffic can get backed up. Some people in our group got stuck for an hour trying to park, since they arrived late.
