All day course featuring a tour of the farm and garden which included some goraging for dinner. A variety of cooking lements including bread, carrot humous, completing a pizza (dough provided) for lunch, making rough puff pastry, filliting a fish, starting pork curing to make bacon; roasting beetroot and more. The day started with pancakes, furit compote and youhourt, tea & coffee available all the time. Lots of techniques and tips and all recipes provided. We finished preparing food late afternoon and were treated to a final demonstration whilst enjoying canapes and a glass of elderflower fizz. A glass of wine was available with the pizza at lunch and a desert provided. After all this, food we had helped to make was finished by the chefs and served as a 4 course meal. Our chef and tutor, Tom, was great. It was a long day but very enjoyable and a lot learnt. We came home with a loaf of bread; any patry we didn't use and a fillet of fish (hake) for those who wanted it (I did). Came home tired but elated and would return again. Excelletn value. Stayed at Lime Tree House, down the road, which I thoroughly recommend.
