Lorenzo was an excellent and fun instructor. I had never snowboarded before and am now able to do most slopes. He met us in St Martin (travelling over from Val Thorens) and was always early. Thank you Lorenzo

We were a group of 6 adults and two kids. The instructor Chantal was brilliant. She gave us the confidence to ski and taught us some great techniques. The club piou piou was amazing and my kid enjoyed every bit of her ski lessons. I was surprised by the fact that my 3 year old daughter could ski in her first week.

Thank you to Prosneige, Les Menuires for providing an excellent introduction to skiing. I had snowboarded in the past but was a ski novice. I took two 3 hour private lessons from Stefan and Federico who are both top class instructors. They listened to my goals and tailored their exercises, giving clear practical feedback on how exactly to adjust my position to ski safely and cleanly, getting the basics right and leaving me with great confidence to progress further in my own time. In addition, the Prosneige ski technician, Marc, understood and explained the cause of pain I felt in one of my feet. He recommended the solution while explaining why it would work. It made sense in theory so I went with and am so pleased I did. A fitted insole and some adjustments to the angle of the footplate in the boot resulted in a comfortable fit with no more pain. This along with the excellent instruction and great company made for the perfect introduction to skiing which I will certainly take forward. I highly recommended the Prosneige, Les Menuires team. Merci!

Domaine Skiable de Val Thorens

Official page Val Thorens: the highest resort in Europe (2,300 metres) and the highest point of Les 3 Vallées, the largest ski area in the world (600 kilometres of interconnected ski runs offering doorstep skiing). Created from the imagination of its visionary pioneers in 1971, "it's a resort unlike any other" which carefully plans each new development with an outlook centred on community, sociability, and innovation: Live United.

Visited this resort tens of times in the last 16 years including 2 full seasons. Nowhere in the world compares. Beautiful open scenery, fantastic and varied ski domain and vibrant, varied town. It’s home. The only problem is that it is becoming a victim of it’s own success, growing bigger and bigger and attracting some undesirable and badly behaved groups at certain times of the year who disrespect the mountain and town. No doubt it is very expensive but that’s why we work!
