Easy climb from Villeneuve (for an experienced cyclist!). But from Lastours it is hell, very steep stretches. It's called "Le petit Ventoux" and it does ressemble a bit, especially during the last few km. It can be very windy as well on the top. During our way back down we had a stop at "Bar Restaurant Le Petit Pradellois", the only place on the 20 km long climb where you can actually drink and eat something outside on a terrace. This part of France is not as well-known as the Provence but the Montagne Noire is heaven for cycling.
