Une épicerie fine, avec un espace de dégustation mettant à l’honneur les produits et les savoirs faire locaux. Une galerie d’arts avec une une programmation annuelle aussi bien de peintres, sculpteurs, photographes … Une exposition permanente de documents et de photos historique Un lieu alliant convivialité et authenticité, dans un décor typiquement inspiré de l’univers des Antilles. Nous permettrons aux clients de se ressourcer en toute quiétude en profitant d’une pause gourmande, dans un espace climatisé, agrémenté de petits bassins. Vernissage et décrochages ont lieux lors de chaque expositions ( 6 expositions différentes par an) . Des minis concerts intimistes viendront animer le lieux régulièrement. Located in front of beautiful Anse Turin beach painted twice by Gauguin, the Interpretation Center is dedicated to Gauguin and Laval stay in Martinique. I wouldn't say this is a "hidden gem" as it isn't really hidden, but it is somewhat off the beaten track. Highly recommend to better understand the history of Martinique and the eruption of Pelee.
