Antrim Castle Gardens

The Antrim Castle Gardens site is an absolute gem and you will find nothing like these 400 year old gardens anywhere else. A recent £6m restoration project which received generous support from Heritage Lottery Fund has now preserved this historic site for generations to come. The Gardens are a unique living museum, with layer upon layer of design features and planting added over the centuries. Indeed, rarely is so much history preserved on one site. The many exceptional features include the ancient Motte, the Large Parterre, the Yew Tree Pond and the Pleasure Gardens.

Fantastic setting, with walks for all the family. There is a vast array of wildlife within the grounds, and a 1km riverside walk adjoining. If you're feeling a little peckish, there is c cafe on site, which serves nice food.

Great example of the round tower and witches stone. Good open space in the park. Would be good to develop the area further to make it an even more interesting stop off.

Castle Mall

Reviewed By Artazart - Antrim, United Kingdom

I bought many things from the shopping centre. my last purchase was a perfume. I always do a sort of market check and the prises in that mall were cheaper than internet prices. I'm giving 5 stars for eco-friendly cotton towels in the toilets that are available for everybody. Oh! and do not forget to visit the charity shops and a nice cup o coffee maybe
