This place is stunning, amazing how when you go over the border from Spain to Portugal suddenly there are toilets and infrastructure and businesses are open – wow fancy that Spain ???? Almeida is amazing lovely town, history everywhere you look, the fort is unreal we walked for hours into every nook and cranny, in the town square they were making their famous Portuguese chicken, how perfect is that. The museum in town is fantastic worth a visit well set up and loads to see.
