I am 25 and from Texas, I've never been anywhere in Asia or "developing countries." My wife and I hired Suneer for a 6 day tour from Marari, to Thekkady, Munnar and then on to Cochin. Firstly, Suneer is a very good driver, he drives the ‘Indian way’ but you never feel that he takes undue risks. He is very intelligent and we learned a lot about Kerala and Indian culture in general. Despite sleeping in his car for 5 nights (!) he was always smartly dressed and ready to go at any time. He helped us change our hotel choice in Fort Kochi and also gave sound advice on trekking and other sightseeing opportunities. I 100% recommend Suneer and Marari Taxis.

We visited Arthunkal Basilica on the way back from kumarakom vacation. It's an historic pilgrimage centre and one of the oldest churches in India. The main church and the one built in 1561 are both well maintained and open for public to pray. A must visit if you are in this area and definitely one to explore if you have an interest in Christian history in India
