This is one of the very few places in Alleppey which serve only pure veg food. Ordered plain Dosa and Porotta set which was yummy and delicious

WOW. Chappatis and parathas for less than 10 rupees; delicious authentic curries for between 100 and 200 rupees; cheap non-instant coffee... We went to this place several times during our stay in Alleppey. It's simple and canteen-like in atmosphere, though we were grateful for the unbelievable prices and fast service.

This place serves a good selection of traditional Indian food with a good choice of alternative dishes for this with a more western palate. Whilst prices are not extremely cheap, they reflect the alcohol licence they possess as well as the great service and pleasant Terrace. The lime and ginger sodas were beautifully presented and very refreshing.

We ate lunch here after Reading review on TripAdvisor a believe me I was not feeling hungry but ate like anything due to food taste.
Everything we ordered( Chicken Chitand/Mutton Briyani/Panner butter masala/Malabar partho) was awesome, not spicy also like normal Kerala style which is bit towards spicy side always. Restaurant is not heavy on your pocket also.

The location is a bit awkward as it is for all the beach restaurants in Alleppey nearby since a new elevated highway is build next to the beach (what a stupid idea!) and everything looks like a construction site and the area looks very unstructured despite the nice beach.
Sitting upstairs in the restaurant itself is nice, it gets busy though. Waiting times are rather long for the food, but prices were generally okay. I have to say the vegetarian North Indian food we ordered was of supreme quality and the best we had in town. Therefore we visited multiple times.

Really recommend the tandoori chicken, fresh and can see it cooking. The tandoor breads are also really good, and its pretty cheap!

Had been fast here. Which is the traditional puttu with kabuli chana curry. It was very tasty. Then we decided to have our lunch too, the very next day. It was the most awesome gastronomic experience we have ever had in our entire trip. Mini aunty prepared a buffet of wonderful South Indian dishes. We got to have chicken fry, fish fry, fish curries, rasam, pullusheri, traditional moru curry(spiced buttermilk), bhindi sabji, and traditional red rice. All the dishes were delicious. Getting a chance to come back to allepey, I will surely be coming to eat here. Thanks to salim uncle too for making our stay so memorable.
