As a junior hiker, I thought it was quite hard to hike around 11 km to 20 km each day within the scheduled time. However, under the good weather condition, I was able to finish the whole itinerary, and I thought it was worthy to do so without any regret! The scenery along the route is very unique and awesome, it is worthwhile to try hard to finish it! The weather can be very different even in one day: sunshine in the morning, wind and cloud in the afternoon and rain at night, so it is very important to wear in layers. Also, a pair of waterproof and comfortable hiking shoes or boots is a must for this hiking tour.

We took this tour last year. The guide doesn’t speak English at all, and keep repeating the same information over and over. They also don’t let you move and ask you to be next to them all the time. Amazing place but awful guide

We had a very disappointing tour with the tour company Top Private Tours, in Puerto Chacabuco. Our concerns with this tour included: a lack of appropriate training for guides, a lack of quality control by the company, and not honouring what was advertised. I am uncertain if this company sub contracts their tours, but when Viator reached out to the company on our behalf, they were communicating with ‘Indoor Uruguay’. The guide we received was not trained and had never done a tour before. Although very nice, she did not provide information regarding the sites other than the names of whatever we stopped at. The tour guide depended on her phone to determine the answers to some of our questions. The tour guide and driver talked to each other, in Spanish, instead of to their 6 passengers. Our advertised 3.5 hour tour, was 2.5 hours and we paid over $800.00 for the 6 of us. A snack was also advertised and not received, although we were later compensated for this. Of significant concern was the fact that the company did not accept responsibility for a less than satisfactory tour. Although the countryside is beautiful, I am unable to recommend this tour with this company.

We will cross the longest suspension bridge of Chile, the "Presidente Ibañez" Bridge, created by Eiffel. From here you are going to explore the unique nature of the Patagonien Cold Rainforrest. You drive to the "Bahia Acantilada" National Park. After a little walk we reach the plateaus called "Mirador Martin Pescador" where you can take great pictures from the Andes. Right after this wonderful stop you drive further eastwards to a Lagoon named "Laguna fantasma", the Ghost lagoon. It shows you how this entire region looked like in the last century. Than you will explore the old pioneer path and walk over the oldest woodmade suspencion brigde of the Region! From here we are on our way back to the Port of Chacabuco but doing our last stop in one of the nicest Lagoons, the "Lagnuna Coipos". You will have the chance to enjoy the wonderful view into the fjord of Chacabuco and than going back on board with wonderful impressions of the most isolated Region of Chile, AYSÈN.

We did a 12 day customized trip in 2018. Found this company through Zicasso, Kieran was great arranging it all and communication was easy. Our trip started in Buenos Aires where we did a cooking class at the Argentine Experience and took a tango lesson. Our dance instructors took us out to a milongo afterwards and we ended up staying out until 2am. It was great! We felt completely immersed in the culture. We then flew to Iguazu and toured the jungle, got blasted by the falls in a boat ride and saw all the incredible creatures that live there. Our last 5 days were spent hiking in Patagonia where we trekked the Perito Moreno Glacier, visited a ranch, and then drove to El Chalten for the final days. All of our transportation was provided, all internal flights booked by Kieran, and everything was just wonderful. To this day, it’s one of my favorite vacations!

Did this trip in February. To sum it up it consists of 11 hours in a minivan to visit three churches in Chiloe, none of them is interesting unless you are an academic interested in the technical details of wooden church building in the mid 19th century. However good the guides are (and our guide was excellent) this piece of Chile is not worth visiting. The drive to Castro in Chiloe island comprises a 70km motorway run to a ferry and then more than two hours driving along a scruffy, semi industrialised road with no redeeming features to Castro. On arrival the only logical question is "why bother". There are so many beautiful places in Chile I would suggest that people give this excursion a swerve and prevent the total waste of a day of their lives.

Very poor value for money.. First day is wasted. Just collect you and hotel. Second day, a full tour of the park with only nuts snack. Third day, a half day boat tour to glacier (8.30-2.30) then lunch. Fourth day, local bus return. A lot of down time. You can easily do this with local day tours and your hotel stays + local bus tour at half the price.
