Highly recommended Mars Charters! Our skipper was Dave onboard Europa private charter around the Whitsundays for a 4 hour tour with the family. Dave went above and beyond to show us all of the island's around the Whitsundays. Our itenary was completely up to us. We chose to stop at Whitehaven beach for a picnic lunch. Would highly recommend booking with Mars Charters and booking Dave as your skipper. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the Whitsundays islands and history. The Europa Boat is very comfortable. Had the best time. Will certainly book again in the future.

Access the Conway National Park trailhead from the top of Kara/Orana street and from there you can run the approx 7.5 km round trip through the rolling tree-covered trail to a gorgeous lookout over Coral Sea marina and the Cannonvale area. The trail is steep at times but worth it. All for FREE!

What a great place for families to cool off, especially when you cannot swim in the sea because of stingers etc. Lifeguards man the pools and lots of shade to sit under. Pools of various depths for all swimming levels.

Boathaven Beach

Saw this beach from the boat on a day trip and walked to it the next day. It is a really nice sheltered beach with very few people. It was very windy on the main Airlie Beach but when I entered Boathaven the wind was virtually non-existent. Definitely recommend a visit to this one.

There are a number of good short (and some very long) walking options in the National Park. We did a coastal forest walk near Shute Harbour and a rainforest walk from Brandy Creek. Definitely worth an explore if you have a car. The short walks are easy enough for most fitness levels. There is a multi day walk as well and mountain bike options.

Only a grade 2 trail and very reasonably walk (approx 4kms return), it goes through forest then to a beautiful coral beach, hence the name and then back into forest before taking you to a breathtaking little wooden lookout platform overlooking Shute Harbour and the surrounding islands ????
