Just gorgeous. We added it to Google maps, so it should be easier to find! Ignore the towers (radio?) and enjoy the view...and the sheep.

Perhaps one of the most romantic locations I’ve ever been- the cliff views, the wild Atlantic Ocean, the soft white sand and the waves!! Stunning spot! Don’t miss it!

It was raining all day so we decided to try this. Since it's in the woods, it's covered and somewhat protected by the rain. The entry fee is now 3 euros. My son is into fairy and fantasy stuff and he really enjoyed it. So much that we went through it again for a second time. The pot of gold is fixed, and I didn't see the problems mentioned in some other reviews. Overall this is good for young kids (my son is 6) especially when raining.

Can’t say enough how wonderful this beach was- especially for a dip! We were camping in Seal Caves Caravan and holiday home park across the street, and we felt so lucky to have this perfect beach so close!

Achill Experience, Aquarium & Visitor Centre

The Achill Experience contains an Aquarium, an exhibition on Island life, a Replica deserted village boley house complete with artifacts of the era, an art exhibition and a History Room as well as an audio visual room showing documentaries covering historical information from Achills past. It is a great all weather facility, ideal for people of all ages, families and school groups. There is also a stand alone Gift Shop.

We all enjoyed the Achill experience...from my 2 year old nephew, my sister and I and the grandparents...we all learned so much about the sea life around the island. Tom was brilliant at explaining it all and keeping it exciting and engaging. The little nephew loved touching the starfish and baby cat shark. The fish are kept in very natural surroundings and Tom assured us that they are released back into the sea after a while "a little holiday" as Tom put it. Great place to spend a few hours especially when it's raining out. Nice little gift shop is an added bonus.
