San Pedro La Laguna (Spanish pronunciation: [sam ˈpeðɾo la laˈɣuna]) is a Guatemalan town on the southwest shore of Lake Atitlán. For centuries, San Pedro La Laguna has been inhabited by the Tz'utujil people, and in recent years it has also become a tourist destination for its Spanish language schools, night life, and proximity to the lake and volcanos.

Hospedaje y Restaurante Tul y Sol

I was here recently for a wedding and had a blast. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have incredible views overlooking the restaurant onto the lake. The restaurant is cozy with great, fresh food. Of course, it also has a stunning view of the lake. The staff is very sweet, and the owner is really friendly. We were immediately made to feel right at home. I'd definitely recommend staying a few days to anyone.

Mayachik Vegetarian Restaurant

Enjoy local and international vegetarian and vegan dishes in a beautiful quiet setting, surrounded by a big garden. We make all our products onsite with local ingredients including from our own garden.

We liked the food at Mayachik. Everyone was happy with smoothies, banana/ginger soup, guacamole, burritos and even the pizza was pretty good. Nothing fancy, but we love the all the veg options and the place had a chill vibe. That said, the lunch literally took 3 hours, which was more than we bargained for. I'd say its a great option if you're staying in one of the rooms here, but might not be so good for a casual lunch while visiting San Juan due to the long wait. The service was very friendly though so we didn't complain. The location is a little out of the way, near the road to San Pedro, but we liked that, it was an easy tuk tuk ride from anywhere.

This is probably the nicest restaurant for dinner in San Pedro! It’s wise to make a reservation, because the place is getting busier. I’ve eaten there three times, and it’s always fantastic...great food and service. We had the paella (only on Saturday and Sundays, and it wasn’t a problem ordering ahead to have a vegan version...the regular kind I was told was delicious as well. The prices are very reasonable, food is delicious, and the service is terrific!Hi Ronald, we are glad your experience was so good! It's a pleasure for us

This is my special place I take my friends visiting Guatemala for a special treat. I pretty much stick to the 2 vegetable plates, one is pickled and the other roasted and the cheese platter. Amazing cheeses sourced here in Guatemala. A must do if you can get in. Make reservations early as possible like a month out if you can.

You can absolutely count on the Italian brothers, Luca and Marcos, to fix you up a nice casual eating experience in their garden cafe. Aside from the croissants and espresso drinks, they serve a nice selection of European, American, and local Guatemalan breakfasts. They also serve great pastas for lunch. If you go for lunch on Monday, you will likely be entertained by a fabulous samba band. There are different musicians playing on some other days. And....by the way, you can also go to use their computer or printer, and purchase moves and tv shows from their huge library. Very nice locals work here as well. You can also purchase the incredible French bread and pastries to go. There’s no reason not to come here if you’re gonna spend any time in San Pedro.

The service was great, the waiters were super friendly and nice. We had some hummus which was delicious and the best artichokes I’ve ever had in my life! We also ordered pasta, sababa fish, stuffed peppers and a chicken salad and it was all yummy and fresh ♥️. We enjoyed Sababa and we will definitely go back (can’t wait till next time).
