The Blue Parrot has great casual food, such as burgers, other sandwiches, salads, etc. It has a nice outdoor dining area and a covered dining area, plus a bar to sit around. The staff is friendly and the food great. This is a really good place to eat.

We sat at a table overlooking the lake for lunch. Situated right by the boat launches. Sunday all day Happy hour, with Cuba Libras at 10 quetzals for 2.I had a fantastic philly cheese steak (50q although the menu in the road says 40q) loaded with steak, and my wife had a very filling qood quality sandwich with fries for 35q. The overall quality was fantastic, the location a belter and the staff (especially the UK guy) lovely. Very happy overall and would highly recommend.

Had a good night out at Pana Rock as we enjoyed the live music and happy hour drinks. Ended up having breakfast here the day after (needed quick wifi) and that was rather disappointing. Took a long time and food itself was only so so. Conclusion; great for a night out but eat somewhere else.

In my way to Lake Atitlan we discovered this amazing restaurant just on the side of the road 15 mins before arriving Lake Atitlan. We were taken care eztraordinaryly with great service and excelent local products Panini, Pizza and Smoothies. Enjoyed from the 2nd floor seating view to the Lake abd the Volcanoes, breathless view. I showed up at Blind Lemon's for an early dinner to find a group of football (soccer) fans from UK and Canada relaxing on a comfortable sofa and chairs watching on a big screen TV the Manchester City vs ?? Eat/Drink/Game. Good time even though I know nothing about football. Blind Lemon's is comfortable and inviting.The menu is well rounded, something for everyone. I had an excellent chicken enchilada dish. I came back later to see if Carlos Funk would be there. Lucky me, he was.For the next couple evenings Carlos and I played the blues. You've got to check this place out!

Don't believe any of their advertising signs out front for happy hour or drunk specials because you're probably being baited. We went here for a beer because they were advertising Victoria beer on a sign right outside their door for 9Q each. No fine print or asterisks or anything. We then go to pay and they were like 14Q each. Not a huge difference, but we were in a budget. We pointed out the error and were told the special was for the smaller Victoria beers, which I had never seen once in my 3 weeks in Guatemala (and after drinking lots of beer there), and which the server here never even offered us. The sign was very misleading. That's the only reason we even stopped there was because of their sign advertising 9Q Victorias. Be very skeptical of any special they advertise and ask many questions.

Can't go wrong with the pizza here. A large variety of pizzas and drinks fill the menu and there are some vegetarian or vegan options. We were a party of 12 and arrived at a good time because shortly after we were seated, it quickly became standing room only for a table. There's no A/C or ventilation so go early or in the evening when it is cooler. Do not order the soup though. Two adults in our party ordered the same soup and both had the same reaction-bland and without substance. It was basically bullion with a few noodles and a chicken taste. We informed the owner and she apologized and brought a jar of dehydrated tomatoes for the road since we had already paid. Beer was nice and cold and service was sufficient. thanks a lot for your positive comment! sorry that the soup was not to your liking, it is made from scratch, bones and beef meat broth, no chicken involved and no MSG, little salt. hope you enjoyed the tomatoes! best regards

Our group made reservations for a private dinner, and we were treated to a first-rate afternoon/evening by Sophia and her staff. We lounged at the pool/swim-up bar enjoying drinks and appetizers until it was time for our dinner reservation. We enjoyed an excellent meal with stunning views of the lake at sunset. Sophia was extremely attentive and personally saw to it that we were well taken care of.
