Reviewed By Mal VWe stayed here for a couple of nights during their off season. We had the corner room. Excellent room great staff very welcoming. I would recommend this place in an instant. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was adequate.

Exactly what we paid for
Reviewed By kates012This stay was exactly what we expected. The rooms and decorations are a little old but they are clean and everything worked well. We were happy for our free tea in the evening and the breakfast in the morning. We didn't interact with staff at the hotel due to COVID, but we were thankful for the precautions the hotel took to protect us during our stay. Plenty of hand sanitizer and signs to remind us to wear our masks!

More a hostel than a hotel
Reviewed By signelhI would not call this a hotel but more a hostel with private rooms. It is a bit pricy compared for what you get. There is no breakfast. Even though I stayed in a no-smoking room, my room smelled like someone had been smoking in there. I is situation right in town which is Nice. It is a okay place, but should be Way cheaper..

Hotel Falken was renovated in 2013 and now welcomes you with lovely bright rooms and a restaurant. There are 41 rooms all with modern facilities. Some of the rooms are located in our annex. We have good, well-prepared Danish food on the menu and every day we offer a Dish of the Day. You can be certain of quality at sensible prices that everyone can enjoy.
Old and worn
Reviewed By GreteOveWe did not expect much, but the hotel still did not meet our expectations. Not possible to shower, either icecold or boiling water (changing constantly). Noisy doors and old piping, so you hear everything your neighbour does. Beds are narrow and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are really old and super tiny! It could be that people were smaller in the 70's when the hotel was built (?) but this is the first time my knees hit the oposite wall when sitting on the toilet (I'm not fat, and only 1,75 high). We bought 2 standard bottled beers and paid 100,- DKK. One hour earlier we bought two of the same beers in a local pub and paid 40,- DKK. The "bartender" seemed to make up the price, and no receipt could be made, how convenient...

Reviewed By 772jkHad a room above the pub. Location is perfect in the walking area. With COVID breakfast was well organized. Plate with good variety of food. Clean dish and cutlery on the room for dinners. All take away options in Lemvig are walking distance and also supermarkets are nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great choice for stopover - now called Herning City Hotel

This hotel is now called Herning City Hotel and no longer Corona Hotel, apparently planed pre pandemic ;) Location: right in the city center, next to the pedestrian zone. Free parking next to hotel Rooms: room had a good size w a sizeable bathroom (shower). The room was functional, good bed& lighting and recently renovated. It was quite at night, windows could be opened. Decorations was new and solid. Breakfast: a small buffet, which was a bit limited. However, it was served in a very inviting, bright breakfast room. Good start to the day.
