Went to the Brewery for the Restaurant and ended up in the Brewery with a great waitress and we had some laughs.

We went into this restaurant on basis of Tripadvisor recommendations and I must say that we were satisfied with all meals. We had carpacio with tasty hot rolls, rabbit with mashed potatoes, little dumplings with poppy seeds and chicken with potatoes for children and a homemade hamburger for my husband. His French fries did not look great but when he got ketchup, he found them ok. We were served rather fast but after the lunch suddenly noone seemed to care for us and after some time when children got nervous, my husband had to settle the bill at the bar as noone even came nearer so that we could ask for the bill.

If you're used to Slovak level of service, you will be surprised.
This restaurant is located in a mountain hotel of the same name in ski center Zona Snow in Slovakia, close to the border with Czech Republic - in fact one can't get there by car from Slovakia, the only road is through Czech Rep..
I sat in the outdoor Seating with a great view of the Czech hills and Mountains and got served almost immediately. The view was great, food very good for the price (considering you're 900m AMSL) and I can't say a word against the service.
They accept Euro and also Czech Korunas, they converted the price in a better rate than the market one (!) and the waiter was very friendly and polite all the time.
I don't often give 5 stars, but this visit deserves it.

Good menu choice. Food well prepared and presented. Service friendly and helpful. Good prices. Usual range of beverages and wines. Owner speaks English well. Only problem is smoking policy: allowed after 1700h, which spoils the experience of dining for the majority non-smokers. Will certainly dine there again and hope smoking policy will change...

We very much enjoyed our evening here, great food, friendly local staff and a really intimate authentic atmosphere.
After our meal and as we were waiting for our taxi, the manager, chefs and staff gave us a local spirit completely for free as a "one, two or maybe three for the road" type of offering.
Will visit next time we're in the area.

The staff is extremely non-professional, they are yeling at each other in front of the customers and just cant manage to do things on time. The floor was uncleaned, the choice of the food is very poor. You get a very good feeling when you get there but as soon as you sit down, it is a nightmare. It is very clear the owners got money from EU but have no intentions of profiting or making it a lovely place.
We left the place without even ordering, cause we saw the food from others plates...and we've waited for SUCH a long time, watching screaming waiters.

Opravdu krásné místo s exkluzivními výhledy na Beskydy, hezké a čisté pokoje za velice příjemnou cenu a kuchyně taky dobrá. Zvláště guláš pana domácího.
Trošku zamrzí snad jen absence nějaké společné kuchyňky pro ubytované.

The location (Hotel Kohutka) hosted a group of over 60 park rangers for a 3 day meeting. We stayed in the hotel and chalets and had our meals in the restaurant. Accommodation was generally very good and for modest cost. The food was also good and although breakfast and packed lunch was not great the evening meals were very nice. The only downside was the lack of vegetables which British people would appreciate.

This was an excellent new find when we were travelling in the region. Not the most typical place to get to. In the case you are in the region, this is just amazing. Good food and drinks, great service, nice atmosphere and very well priced.

Set in an old brewery the atmosphere both in terms temperature and general psychological eating location was perfect. Outside was an uncomfortable 28 inside was perfect.
The food here is exactly what I wanted excellent Czech food, beautifully prepared very fresh and tasty, really if your are in town there is no excuse for not eating here -great.
