In Valencia there is not a lot of choice for eating Western Food as there are very few tourists in these parts and only a few foreigners usually married to local Ladies. This town only has Mc Donalds or Jollibee to choose from for Hamburgers and fries etc. Forget Mc Donalds now as their hamburgers are insultingly small and very average. Jollibee has stepped up to the mark offering two versions of their "Champ Burger" which are a satisfying size and quality for less money than the inferior versions at other outlets in Valencia. The last one I enjoyed had fresh pineapple and was the propper 6" diameter. I think these are the best value for money with a burger meal costing 189 pesos. Hotdogs and other choices are available but 79 pesos for a very average hotdog is not my idea of value, so go the big burgers fries and drink. Airconditioned comfort and courtious door guards and staff. Great place to take the kids and support the local community.

If there is a choice I usually go to something else, but if the kids demand or there is nothing else I cannot say anything really bad about Jollibee except it does not have wifi or good western style dishes. They are usually well run and clean air conditioned outlets.

The hotel lobby is nice; the restaurant is just beside. It is a typical restaurant setting. they served Chinese food but have also some other dishes to choose from.
It is within Hotel Valencia in this City.they have swimming pool seen from our room. The hotel and restaurant is just along the highway.

Food and service was good at this Chowking even though it was very busy. I do miss the orange chicken that use to be on the menu. Located right along the highway in a small mall.

Bouchon

Reviewed By Lynn P - Dumaguete City, Philippines

March 23, 2013
It's surprising why not so much has been said about this restaurant. If Valencia provides a breath of fresh air from all the mess in Dumaguete, Bouchon is a gasp of quality food from all the gastronomic mediocrity.
There are many places where the staff is nice and all smiles (sometimes a bit too animated), but Bouchon is one of only a handful of restaurants where the staff is professionally trained in how to conduct themselves appropriately. Bouchon is a cut above the others in terms of the staff's service, knowledge (of the menu, especially) and personality.
It's really hard to find a place where food is cooked the way it should be. That is, with real and fresh ingredients. But if you prefer food that is flavored with pre-mixed packets then this certainly is not the kind of food that will give you the MSG-high that you're looking for.
It's more expensive than the average restaurant but then it's far from being an average restaurant. For the quality of food and service alone, I would say the price is just about right. In fact, I will not hesitate to give Bouchon 5 points for its value and a McDonald's in Dumaguete a 2.
The place does not have a wide area (although it does have a nice, spacious garden) so it may not be ideal for a huge gathering. But it's perfect for those personal and private special occasions.
In a nutshell, all restaurants should be a Bouchon restaurant!
Do I recommend the place to others? Definitely, without a doubt
Am I willing to go back to this place? Of course

Lunch time we were around Maramag... before we climb up to the direction following the Buda -Davao highway. There could probably be no more decent eating place somewhere as we traverse the mountain ranges going to Davao City.
We decided to stop for a hearty lunch since the food were tempting our appetite. That was not bad. it satisfied our hunger stomach.. Just like the name of this restaurant. Hungry Juan.

Inday's Kamalig

The location of this restaurant is very good since it is right beside the main highway and aside from that they have enough space for parking. The parking has a security guard assigned for assisting guests.
The ambiance is also good, service is quick and the food was delicious. I would say that they also have a good balance of affordability and quality. I would definitely recommend this place.

The interior is awesome, the ambiance takes you away from bukidnon and into a city restaurant where everything is well made. We were so excited to taste their food but when our orders arrived, we were quite disappointed with the outcome. We ordered ribs and what arrived was some other part of the pig, and yes their ribs is pork and not beef. They also gave us fake bills for change.

Service...what service?
They close at 810pm. We ordered two pizza's. Two burgers. And 3 ramens...got in at 730...and they informed us they're closing as we ate. No rush...but were closing. Lol. Anyways...
There is cheese in the ramens. Just order the pizza. Everything else is better elsewhere.
