The rooms are in a remodeled 18th century stone house in the historic center of Borghetto, a hamlet just outside of Valeggio on the River Mincio; the original structural elements have been preserved but the rooms are comfortably air conditioned, and have wi-fi and cable TV; the suites have a private sauna and steam bath. The beauty of the area, the services offered and the attention given to the guests make the Maison Resola an elegant, exclusive and unique place to stay.

Reviewed By Y3098CLmartinkWe visited for a few days for my 92 year old father’s funeral. Borghetto is a superb place at any time of year. Cold at his time of year but quiet and peaceful. Only a few restaurants open but they were excellent and staff English speaking. Maison Resola was excellent as was the hostess. The room was great and even had a sauna. The breakfast choices were huge and the selection of fruits were not only varied but ripe, quite an achievement for any northern hemisphere country. It seemed rude not to eat a lot! Own free parking a short level walk away.

Reviewed By ely_healthy_kitchenWe spent one night at Corte Regia and it’s our top rated stay !!! The staff is absolutely welcoming and kind. The place is just perfect, nothing left to the chance. By the river, the sound of water is with you whether you are on the balcony of your room or you sit in the garden! Rooms super clean, garden very peaceful. The Spa has all you need, We used the outdoor pool (reaction) after the sauna since the water is kept at 14’ all year round. Breakfast surpassed our imagination, we also had a slow juicer at our disposal and fresh fruit and veggies to make our own juice in the morning. High selection of savory and sweet options. GF options available. We dined at the close by SanMarco restaurant and everything was just perfect, the veranda is river view with a chimney on (in winter) Bike rental is available, so you can ride up and down the Mincio cycling path. We already loved Borghetto before, but now we love it even more!

Our B&B overlooks the beautiful Mincio Valley, 300 meters from one of Italy's most visited hamlets. We are known for the warmth of our welcome and care for details. Relax with free Wifi and private parking included; we even pay the tourist tax for you. It's our way of making you feel at home. The little things that make the difference.
So good we returned for our second stay in 15 months.
Reviewed By Bob THaving stayed in B&B Valledium for the first time in July 2018, we promised ourselves last year that we would return to Mauro's wonderful B&B so we booked a full week this time. Originally we planned to visit the 3 day Tortelli e Dintornio Festival in the village and do a little more touring of the area. But the British Airways strike meant that prior to arrival in Valeggio SM, at very short notice we had to extend our stay by 4 days ! Mauro took all the stress of finding extra accommodation off our shoulders and promised he would sort things out and advised us to focus on planning our extended itinerary. He was simply brilliant from the minute we landed very late at night in Verona airport, he met us with a huge smile and a hug close to midnight. Serving a gorgeous selection of breakfasts from savoury through sweet with something different every morning. Again his advice on restaurants and village/town/city tours was faultless indeed there were at least 3 beautiful towns we experienced that we would never have found in any guide book. His all round genuine care for his guests and their experience in his wonderful country was truly first class. Once again Mauro a massive GRAZIE MILLE for a wonderful stay and who knows maybe we will see you next year :-)

Nice apartment with breakfast
Reviewed By johan6688We stayed two nights at the hotel (B&B). The owners were very nice and helpful. The room was spacious with a separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the kitchen/living room. Beds were comfortable. A good Italian breakfast was included. Street parking was available outside the apartment. It is about 20min drive to Gardaland

The historic building has been recently restored and it is 10min from Lake Garda and Gardaland and 20min from Verona e Mantova. B&B Pegaso is situated in the Morenic hills, set in the lovely countryside full of vineyards and gardens.

They not only helped us plan our trips to Verona and Venice but also introduced us to the area and suggested additional activities. The food was excellent and Roberto makes the best coffee ever. Perfect hideaway with excellent and friendly service

Normally I tend to explain in many word pro and con of a location - but here short list: - very friendly and warm welcome by Pietro. Also during our stay Pietro gave us several very good recommendations for restaurants etc. (and organized reservations including special rate for his friends). - Style of this place is outstanding. You can see that Pietro and his wife put very much love and time into this specific place. So in case you want to have a private party, this place makes you feel home (probably in a much nicer and higher level as we are all living in reality) - Food - not much to say, breakfast is good, no big buffet which would not match the private atmosphere -.- instead you are seated next to the river with your loved ones and you can enjoy 100% the beauty of this place (river, nature, silence etc.) - rooms - very nice and function + many books you can ready etc. - it felt more being at a friend vacation retreat than in a hotel! - location - perfect, yes you hear the street (but not inside the rooms and the river might be louder than the street at any time), river perfect for a swim (or drift - just walk up the small connected island and jump in, wait 5 min and get out at the end of the private garden :-) - location in general - I was even doing some running for several km which was ok.. at the evening you can walk to the next small town locate over the river, have perfect tortellini and a impressing view on the old bridge which reminded me of the two sisters from game of thrones. Also day trip to Verona and Mantua was easy to do (including borrowed city guide books and maps with recommendations from Pietro) Only problem for me - the more I recommend this place, the less the chances to get next time again a room :-( Probably best place I stayed so far if you want romantic hide away and relaxed days at a beautiful river where you can enjoy a nice book, good glas of wine and how perfect a summer can be Kind regards, Thomas (& Resi)
