Situated in the picturesque village of Twemlow Green The Yellow Broom is one of Cheshire's best known landmarks & treasured restaurant. Enjoying an idyllic, typically English setting this intriguing building is surrounded by lawns, beautiful secluded gard
We really enjoyed the good food and friendly, attentive service. All the food choices were very good quality and the presentation was of a high standard. However, we were very surprised that the prices on the menu did not include VAT, so the overall cost of the meal was an unpleasant surprise. In particular it meant that the Filet Mignon was nearly £40 which was disappointing for a relatively small piece of this special steak. The ribeye steak would be better value.Dear WestlowjackVery pleased that you enjoyed the food, ambience and your experience at The Yellow Broom. Our prices are all fully inclusive of VAT. Your Filet Mignon were charged at £29.95 as per our menu. However at the bottom of your final bill our system analysis the VAT content, not an additional charge as you have suggested in your review. We add nothing further to our listed prices, just a free mint humbug and of course a big smile.Look forward to welcoming you back soon for one of our excellent rib steaks.

Found this by accident when we were by the canal so called in, the landlady and landlord were friendly and welcoming,we ordered a drink and sat outside by the water and browsed the menu I opted for the chilli nachos whilst hubby wanted a cheeseburger the food arrived after a short wait and was well presented and cooked the food was delicious, we both ordered the honeycombed cheesecake for afters with another round of drinks the pudding was amazing, this is a lovely place it was so nice to eat great food in the sunshine watching the boats go by I would of loved to have a cocktail but it was a bit early lol, we will return again, I recommend this place they have a good choice of food and they have offers on during the week. Well worth a visit. Thank you

As long time Sandbach residents, we have become somewhat critical of local restaurants and now travel to eat in more exciting, but not always outstanding restaurants. After several only ok meals we had rather ignored Casa Mia. How wrong we were. My minestrone soup was excellent, not difficult you may think, but so many Italian restaurants just serve thick tomato and vegetable soup masquerading as minestrone. Not here, a proper soup with a background tomato broth and a superb medley of vegetables. With some trepidation I chanced the lobster linguini. Half a lobster, served on the side and perfectly cooked, such an advance on the eraser crustaceans I normally expect and sadly, too often receive. The linguine was subtly flavoured with tomato and had hidden delights of mussels and prawns. My wifeâs lasagna was well prepared although a little too tomatoey for her.Service excellent overall a most unexpected, outstanding meal. Well done Casa Mia.

Went for tea, only ones in there for a while, we had penne salmone, penne boscaiola and penne arranbiata and asked for some veg to be mixed in. Also had bread and butter pudding for dessert. Food was nice and the staff were very friendly.

Beautiful family run Italian set in the heart of Holmes Chapel serving fresh food . We are a family friendly restaurant offering pastas, pizzas, fish, steaks and many more with an extensive wine menu.
My husband and I dined here at the weekend. We both had the fillet steak one plain one with dolcelette sauce, absolutely lovely and flavoursome. Our wine a Valpolacello complemented the food. We've been a few times here both as a couple or with our family. Always enjoyable.

Stopped here after a dog walk. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Refreshing tasty cider and a couple of nibble dishes. Garlic bread (to die for) and perfectly cooked homemade 'fish fingers'. Charlotte looked to be in charge and couldn't fault the service her and her team provided. Hello Mervyn, I am delighted to see that you had a fantastic meal with us at The Bear's Paw. Thank you for your kind praise of our quality of food and the service received. I hope you will have the opportunity to join us again soon!Best wishes, Clara Marketing Team
