Four of us came in for coffee and pastries which were all very nice. The place seems extremely popular and was pretty much packed on a Sunday lunchtime.Unfortunately the music being played was far too loud and didn't encourage us to stay any longer.Finally, it's not the restaurant's fault but parking in the area is very limited. We parked in the station car park but you will need to register by phone if you've not done so previously.

Visited this cafe for the first time with a friend. We wanted to go for lunch at an independently run cafe so we decided to try this one, honestly the best decision we made! The staff were very friendly, the food we ordered came out very quickly, and it was just a really lovely atmosphere. I would come back here and I recommend this cafe to anyone!

Don't even think about dining here. There were more staff in than customers, terrible atmosphere with African dance music playing too loud on a Thursday afternoon at 12 o/c. The management were all just huddling around glaring at us like we'd interupted a private chat in their lounge rather than trying to enjoy a lunch in their fake posh cafe.The food was tasteless and overpriced. Coffee was brown water. Menu had a poor choice and for a restaurant to call itself Vegan and Gluten Free and then have a menu that totally contradicts this makes me question the whole strategy and believe they've just put these trendy "Gluten Free" and "Vegan Cafe" signs up to appeal to more of the so-called fashionistas than really caring.Awful place I will never set foot in again and can't wait till they eventually go out of business and a better decent cafe opens instead.

Met some friends for a birthday lunch, we chose it due to logistics. I had the veggie breakfast which I veganised to suit my taste, was offered something in place. The breakfast came with toast or bread and butter (separate). The plateful of food was plenty big enough, all served at a good temperature. I parked out on the road. Would suggest paying for an hour at least. 30 mins is not enough really, as this place gets quite busy and if they have many covers, you may not be out in time.

Not really a restaurant but more of an eatery. Open for breakfast through to mid afternoon. Q small but can also sit outside. V friendly staff. Take away snacks and soup. Sandwiches, desserts and other goodies. Can also organise corporate functions & parties.

We eat here once a week. I have the hummus/grilled/Sauteed veggie salad, or some skin on wedges, there are jacket spuds available with which you can have a kind of ratatouille (can't remember the name of the dish!)... all dairy/animal free. Try this out, it's clean, crisp and newly opened. Lovely fresh food, and they do a lovely soya latte too. Go in, tell Tim that you're vegan, and he'll explain what he can veganise for you.

My friend and I arranged an impromptu lunch and we decided to stay local so popped into the Oakmere Tea and dining room for the first time ever, despite having lived in Potters Bar for over 15 years! I had previously read many positive reviews and pleased to say we were not disappointed. There were quite a few people in there when we arrived and it got even busier as we dined. The place is clean, nicely decorated and had a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.We were served relatively promptly, staff not overly friendly but efficient nonetheless. Good choice of options on the menu. Food was of good quality and I found the portions a fair size for lunch. Reasonably priced meals but the drinks are a bit expensive. Not sure Iâd return in a hurry, as there are many other nice (slightly cheaper) places to lunch in Potters Bar, but happy to have finally tried it.
