Have eaten in the restaurant before and had an enjoyable meal. Ordered take away this evening, which was just horrible...firstly the chips were well and truly overcooked (most probably reheated from days ago judging by their taste and appearance). We also ordered sweet and sour chicken balls which came WITHOUT sweet and sour sauce, along with thoroughly dried out lemon chicken...just cannot believe how awful the food was. Went in the bin. Absolutely vile is probably a fair description. Won't be returning.

My husband and I decided to visit The Bengal Bear following recommendations by friends.We were warmly greeted by staff and our order was very promptly served. My husband chose the Tandoori Mixed Grill Balti with a Keema Nan which he said was delicious. I chose the Bengal Bear Special Balti which was lovely. Portions were huge.A very pleasant meal and thoroughly recommended.

I wanted sweet and sour chicken without rice but the lady said I still had to pay for the rice I didnât want. Ok so I didn't visit here but ordered a takeaway. Quite a sizeable order at £50+ which turned up a few minutes late, again not really a problem. There was 1 pilau rice missing. I contacted the restaurant through their website but heard nothing.Saying that, the food was very good so I won't complain too much.
