We have visited Hathawayâs before and took our family there for a meal last week. As usual we had a warm and friendly welcome. All six of us had delicious well presented food and the service was spot on. Would recommend a visit.

The new placement of Fausto,s Italian restaurant has lost its character, the chairs were not comfortable, you stuck to them! The food was lovely and staff were good, but itâs lost itâs character and charm!

We visited here yesterday for our last family whilst on holiday at Butlins.We were seated near the kitchen so able to see the chef's preparing the food. Despite the restaurant being less than half full it took ages for our order to be taken by a very unenthusiastic member of staff, we sat waiting patiently for our starters and watched the staff trying to serve a large party that were in. They got the order wrong for the them and tried to serve them my husband's Calamari starter, they then tried to remove dough sticks from my Son's junior starter to serve to the large tables order instead of making the missing one. By now I was cross but trying to overlook what I was witnessing hoping the mains would be better.At that point my husband witnessed our waitress sticking her finger in her ear and picking her nose and wiping it across her face just before serving more food. She at no point thought to wash her hands! At that point we asked to see the manager who came over with the waitress and basically laughed at us and said the waitress hadn't done anything wrong!! At that point we left...I would never go back here again, disgusting hygiene and abizmal customer service!!

The tri medley of ravioli a joy, the chicken parm was delicious. The friendly owners Cristina and Gavin are relaxed professionals always putting you at ease. The specials board is constantly changing ,the food is a reflection of top quality cooking and knowledge.Thank you very much guys, it's always a pleasure to see you when in the area, Gavin very chaffed with your kind words.
