This place is out of this world! Super polite and friendly staff, amazing cuisine, all served with a smile... so I couldn't really ask for much more. Nothing was too much trouble, I had a lovely chat with our waitress about food and what to do in the local area. It didn't surprise me that this is a favourite wedding venue, I can imagine that every wedding would be pretty spectacular. I would recommend this place if you are looking for some special or relaxing time.

View all the meats and fish before you chose in their long refridgerated display counter.Order there and add any side dishes.The food is cooked to your taste.The quality and taste is as good as I have eaten anywhere.It's not the cheapest but neither is it expensive and we'll worth the extra few pounds above the bulk standard prices you would pay in an average resteraunt.It pays to book as this is a very popular place.I would unreservedly recommend this reaeraunt for service, taste ,value and ambiance

The management needs to learn a bit more about customer service. Rude, bad service from the higher ups. Took family here while in the town - have eaten here before so we know the food is good, and indeed it was this time as well, however, this is why only 4 and not 5 points. Food and drink arrived in good time, but I also ordered a cup of tea which didnt come with the meal, and being upstairs there was no one really coming upstairs, when a waitress eventually did come up there which was at the end of our meal, I asked about my tea, and in fairness she did promptly get it. I did want it with my food, not after reminding them about it. In addition the café was probably not half full, so there was no reason to forget the tea. I will say the food was good and well cooked, and in fairness quite reasonable as well. WOuld have easily given 5 out of 5, but any cafe shouldnt forget the customer orders.Hi Tony,Thank you so much for your time to write this beautiful and detailed review, it's appreciated :) We are sorry about the mixup happened with your tea and looking forward to see you again at Cafe Fresco to make this up to you with a 5-star service!Regards

Attended for the Easter Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Staff were amazing and made our daughter feel very welcome. Plenty of choice for a set menu. Childrenâs menu was excellent and we have a fussy eater who nearly finished all food on her plate.I was a bit dubious about attending after reading comments but glad we ignored them. Beautiful grounds and our daughter enjoyed the hunt. Highly recommend this place and look forward to coming again

As a family we have enjoyed many a good Sunday lunch at the brynffynon. However today was a big disappointment. Something has gone very wrong. We had to go back to the bar to ask what had happened to our drinks. The service got worse. Deserts that should have been hot were cold. The wait between courses was really long. Then we were served with cold coffee. On leaving I was asked to pay the bill,which in fact my son-in-law had already paid. Not even a sorry from the waitress. It saddens me to write this review because we have enjoyed such good times there. Eira Linehan.

The beef salad crusty rolls, not forgetting some onion, or indeed soft white rolls are totally delicious to take home for tea along with a huge range of cakey delights. Nice staff, very helpful. Comfortable to sit in too especially for toast & coffee or a bacon potato slice nicely warmed.

Went for lunch and had a lovely three course menu. Staff were lovely and food was up to a very high standard. Prepared and cooked by three young chefs who came out and introduced themselves after. Talking about their creations they made sound so simple, well done. It was a pleasure to meet you all, and we look forward to repeating the experience very very soon.
