Tried for the first time after reading good reviews.Left feeling hungry still.There does not seem to be anything not too hot & spicy on the menu After explaining did not want too spicy, was assured whatever I chose could be changed,. unfortunately that did not happen .I had to request that separately, it was taken away, but only half the amount came back just sweetened almost to Korma style.it contained one tiny piece of potato. ( bearing in mind it was suppose to be the lamb and potato curry.) The pilau rice was also disappointing..It was a pity that I was not asked if everything was o.k.Needless to say a disappointing experience..

Just moved into the area and took the girlfriend here for dinner to see what it was like.Friendly, efficient staff, nice cold beer and decent chutneys with the poppadums.I ordered the Chicken Tikka Dhansak and it compared pretty well to the good ones I've previously had, it wasn't greasy, had a good rich sauce and plenty of tasty chicken in the sauce. The Garlic Naan I had with it was ok but not nearly enough garlic.My girlfriends Meat Thali was a really good size selection for the price.We'll definitely be back here again to try and more of the dishes and the chef specials.

I will never eat from here again! On collecting my vegetarian meal got home, everything looked as it should, box labelled paneer, start eating and yes there was some paneer but also a load of chicken which I hadn't realised until eating. When I phoned I was told that I had ordered the paneer and chicken mix which I hadn't and never have! Kept saying it was my fault and that they would do me another. Not eating another now I've got to go and throw this one up! No apology and hung up on me when I said I would be coming round for my money back. Totally disgraceful and rude!

First time visiting for a takeaway after a recommendation from a friend. The portions are huge. Curries were very tasty, rice nice and free popadums also a bonus. I thought the Naan bread could have been cooked a touch more, but we did get three even though we only ordered two.I would like to visit again and try a different curry before passing judgement as the other local restaurants, not matter what you order, the curries always look and taste the same, and in all fairness, cost twice as much.But overall very nice first visit

We had another very tasty meal here at the polash. Can't fault the food or the service, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lovely old style Indian restaurant with traditional Indian cuisine, cooked to an excellent standard. I would recommend the tandoori trout if you're a fish eater, absolutely gorgeous and arrives sizzling!
