Things to do in Berkeley
A very small cafe with just one large farmhouse table and a couple of seats at a bar area, but it's like popping in to see your favourite aunt and getting a breakfast. The food is excellent and the staff are always chattering. The also do takeaway so if it's crowded get your food and head out. One of the best breakfasts in the area.

We enjoyed a superb afternoon tea with scrummy sandwiches, cheese and plain scone with cream and jam, gorgeous sausage roll and lovely cakes - especially the chocolate cake , Service was attentive but relaxed . There was a plentiful supply of tea and coffee whilst we tried ( but failed) to eat all our cakes but took them with us in takeaway containers. Overall a very good, reasonably priced afternoon tea. Highly recommended.

By day we are a small, friendly cafe where you can enjoy a simple Latte or enjoy a full English breakfast, we also offer lighter snacks such as Paninis, sandwiches and cakes. Watch out for our speciality evenings, we specialise in Caribbean food, however
I visit this cafe after swimming. The scones are delicious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming which is great for me because I am always on my own. Although it is small it is very cosy and has recently been tastefully refurbished.

Great coffee, teas, beers and wines. Fabulous cakes and palate pleasing and healthy dishes created with love from ethically sourced produce, local where possible.
Set under the edge of the wooded escarpment on Stinchcombe Hill in Gloucestershire this exciting new combination of café, deli, garden centre and ice cream parlour is a must. Stroll through the trees on woodland walks, take in the amazing views and let children explore the wonderful playground. The café is set in an oak timbered cloister, newly built offering crumptious food. All freshly prepared and cooked on the premises you will not be disappointed. Try the Croque Monsieur or soup of the day with a chilled glass of Sauvignon blanc - or return later for tea and cake. Can't wait to go back...

Positives: Well located, broad menu, reasonably priced and with a good outlook and friendly staffNegatives: jacket potatoes dry and could have done with butter before topping and salad also dry and bland could have done with dressing Having said that, I would recommend this venueThank you for your positive review . we are sorry you thought the jacket potato was dry, we don,t put butter in the jacket potato unless it is requested due to the range of dietary needs we cater for, which is also the reason we don,t dress our salads, there is a range of dressings available on the dresser for anyone to help themselves or if you would like something different, a member of staff will assist you. we hope to see you again.Thank you

The breakfast I had was a real winner, although the baked beans were left on the plate. The interior is well designed and tastefully modern and, on warm days I can sit outside and enjoy their coffee with sunshine on my back. Recommended.

A family run business situated on the A48, overlooking the Cone Valley Brook. Swan House Tea Room is the perfect venue to enjoy a morning coffee, glass of wine with a light lunch, cream tea or delicious homemade cake. Afternoon Tea our speciality. - Morni
Went for afternoon tea to celebrate a friends birthday. The table looked so pretty with beautiful tablecloth and bone china cups, plates and serving plates. The sandwiches, pastries, both savoury and sweet, and cakes were absolutely delicious, and the service was brilliant. There is a huge choice of scones, and plenty of lovely cream and home made jam go with them! It was a real treat! We are delighted you enjoyed your visit to Swan House Tea Room. Thank you for leaving such a lovely review.Hopefully see you again soon.Best wishesSwan House Tea Room Team

Popped in for snack lunch whilst on cycle route to Gloucester from Bath. Excellent cyclist's fayre - fruit flapjack was moist, sweet and tasty. Decent selection if other cakes too with a few looking homemade. Warm and welcoming inside with comfortable seating and tables. It's not massive inside but nice and cosy. Bike rack on street opposite. Glad I found The Perfect Blend and will pop in again.

A great little place with delicious home cooked food, lovely staff and fantastic cakes. It's a tea room and the tea is excellent. Sadly the coffee isn't - despite there being what looks like a perfectly serviceable espresso machine, what came out of it was like dishwater - weak and tasteless. Stick to the tea - the clue is in the name!
