A long-overdue return visit, so many new dishes to choose from on a superb menu. Our meals were inventive, fresh, and delicious. Our welcome and service were friendly and very good (including great service from someone working their first day there). Cakes also irresistable and delicious. A lovely place to eat.

Popped in for breakfast on a weekday morning and the place was busy with a nice atmosphere. Similar menu to our previous visits and it all sounded really appealing. Ordered a full breakfast and a french toast with maple syrup and bacon. Food was good despite a few odd touches like chopped tomatoes over the French toast and no beans with the breakfast. Unfortunately the coffee was really poor and the flat white was very weak and far too hot to drink. Service was a bit hit and miss. We will probably come back and have always enjoyed eating here in the past but left slightly disappointed this time.

We arrived hoping to sit in but apparently they only do this on Fridays - pity, as I am sure they could increase their turnover if this was extended to include Saturday as well. The proprietors are both Scottish and have a fantastic sense of humour making all customers feel as if they are really welcome!Thank you very much.

Lovely lunch at the packhorse, I had the Cajun chicken which was wonderfully cooked, not too spicy but just right. My husband enjoyed the lasagne, we shared a starter and desert which was no problem to order as the proprietors are so accommodating, all in all a lovely lunch, superbly cooked and served by friendly and helpful people. The chef is obviously experienced and very capable, the staff are courteous and considerate, would recommend.

Royal Oak Farm tearoom and farmshop are currently closed for the winter and will reopen in Spring 2020
Hidden away among the country lanes is this splendid farm, the perfect and affordable place to pick all your strawberries, raspberries gooseberries and many more. And after all your hard work what a lovely little tea garden to enjoy a delicious cream tea complete with warm scones, and homemade jam. Definitely will be returning again.

We both stopped in for a breakfast. I had a full English, which consisted of a fried egg, bacon, sausage mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, black pudding and toast. I also had a lovely cappuccino. The breakfast was £8.99 but well worth every penny as it was all cooked to perfection and using fresh local ingredients. Lavazza coffee is used in the cappuccino, delicious. Amazingly friendly people run this place and dogs are allowed with well behaved owners. Will definitely be back.

YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!! The Yellow Deli is owned & run by the most lovely people. They have restored this gorgeous building and transformed it into an informal eatery which is so well looked after, one could eat off the floor. A varied menu & an option to build your own lunch cannot fail to please. The Chilli is fabulous but avoid eyes bigger than tummy syndrome! I ordered a bowl and a mug would probably have done! Do ask the history behind Yellow Deli. These charming, lovely people have an interesting story to tell. Make sure you try it soon!
