Went looking forward to a nice Wednesday evening meal. We were the only customers there and HALF AN HOUR LATER when we left only another couple turned up.As soon as we entered we just felt as if we had done wrong going there. The food was served in small dishes in what looked like a big stainless steel dogs bowl.From going in & ordering, eating our food and leaving took 30 minutes.Not a good experience.

The good first. Food was ok. Standard Indian stuff. Nothing great, could of been anywhere. Staff lovely, especially the lady doing the drinks. The bad. Ok. So you book a table for 14 as we have done previously. On arrival shown to a table of 10 plus a table of 4 on the other side of a barrier. We ask to have the table down the middle as usual. This is where it gets surreal. The owner says we should have said we wanted to sit together when booked! Ah table for 14 sort of says that. Eventually he rearranges 3 tables (wins 4 back for all of the people he must be fair too, another silly reason)Food order taken, food arrives. Missing 1 peshwari Naan, £2.50 worth on a £250 order. No biggie. I mean make another deliver to table right? Oh no, tell us we had it, question. The 3 waiters serving, ignore us. Finally get it when the rest of the food eaten. Hilarious If you want great Indian food. There are plenty of others. If you want a boss that understands hospitality well this ainât for you.

Five of us had a reunion meal at the Akash tonight and cannot praise it enough. All our dishes were lovely, flavoursome and well presented. Delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful.... special mention for Kamil who sorted out a car problem for us as well ! Lovely Atmosphere, attention to detail and all at a very reasonable price . We'll be back without a doubt.

Absolutely horrific service.We waited an hour and a half for starters when the restaurant was practically empty, and when we politely asked the staff how long much longer we could expect to wait for our food we were spoken down to very rudely.We were repeatedly spoken to as if we were stupid by the staff during the course of our meal.There was a particularly loud table opposite us with children who were running around the restaurant floor, we asked if we could be moved downstairs to another table and were rudely shut down and told that itâs a restaurant and they were children, what did we expect them to do.The food is mediocre and far from worth the wait. We will not be coming back and would recommend that others did not use this restaurant.Disappointed!

Visited on an early Friday evening the place was approx. 3rd full - we were shown to table and then left for about 10 mins without menu or offered drinks which seemed a little silly!. This was quickly resolved and food and drink were very goodLocation is a little isolated but plenty of parking around, as the place provide delivery and take away menuGood solid Indian without being to exceptional in either a good or bad way!

It's a small place but has a big heart! The guys running it are friendly and helpful and the food, is just divine. Every time I have visited I have left looking forward to returning again.I recommend booking due to the small size but it is definately a place I recommend if you like quality spicy food!Thank you for such a beautiful review. Had a takeaway last night which arrived spot on time. Food was great as usual, a variety of dishes with first timers eating who were also very impressed with the quality.Just one suggestion, please throw in free popadoms. This is the only Indian I have ever come across that doesnât do this which is a tad disappointing. However not enough to knock the rating down as we do love having this on our doorstep.

Had the buffet with the family, excellent evening as always and the food was amazing. Rocky the waiter looked after us well and really made us feel welcome and looked after my son and daughter and they love seein him as he always makes them smile.
