I’m a quiet spots off the main road, beautiful pool/bar/gardens all kept to an extremely high standard. Suitable for families of babies/toddlers as it was a nice shallow pool- not really for school age imo as there’s mainly a chilled relaxed vibe. Make sure you have god flip flops for around the pool as the tiles get v hot amd sloppy when wet. Toilets and showers conveniently nearby. Food from Oregano was excellent. We had breakfast- great choices inc a lovely yoghurt/fruit option. Bar snacks during the day- lovely pizza. And great home cooked, traditional food in an evening. Staff all friendly - George- the barman is a great dancer!? Nice chilled music during the day. George & Anna were great hosts. We were a group of 8 attending a family wedding. George saved the day when we woke up to a power cut, all across Trulos ? for the 5 hours when we were to get ready for the wedding! ? George got a generator & ran cables in the courtyard so we could iron shirts, curl hair & have (cold) showers! (In 30 degrees that wasn’t so bad). God knows what we’d have done without him!???? We were in a top floor room in block 3, they were large with new comfy beds. Due for refurbishment, but we have no complaints. The maids did a brilliant job each day- leaving rooms immaculate with new towels and linen more often than we perhaps needed! (The only feedback I gave was to add a couple of coat hooks, a full length mirror and some shelving for storage. Anna assured me this would be addressed). Aircon was €60 for 2weeks and as it was unusually hot for May, we found this essential. It was really useful to be able to use the brand new showers on our last day, as we’re had a late flight- no need for late checkouts and sharing rooms. Also, thanks to George for liaising with the Jet2 rep for us when there was a mix-up with our private transfer pick-up. He was very helpful and calm when we were all getting rather jittery about missing flights! (Which we didn’t and it was all sorted.) Thanks Almira team for a great holiday.

This is a perfect place for families and or young adults singles and couples, We have a restaurant and pool bar available 24/7. Entertainment every evening with Kostas, Steve, Pool table,BBQ evenings every week, Sunday lunches - Buffets - curry nights and much more. If you are into karaoke then you will also be a star on some nights. You will be made part of the family. See you soon.

Reviewed By 756millietI couldn’t recommend this place enough! Rena is absolutely lovely and included us in so much and kostas is such a lovely guy aswell. Koukias is very close to lots of restaurants and is easily accessible ,it is on bus stop 18 and it is very easy to get to town and other places from there. Best holiday I’ve ever been on everyone was so nice and welcoming, the rooms were big and very nicely decorated! If your thinking about booking do it you will not regret it!!

All air-conditioned apartments are tastefully decorated with double bed and feature fully equipped kitchen.The 50square meters in size apartments are light and airy and give you the comfort to relax and enjoy your vacation.Large balconies with sun beds to lie down with a book or a drink.Also satellite TV32'or50',DVD,safe,hairdryer and bath.In the garden there is bbq,coin laundry and playground.

Reviewed By A2501CQandrewmFirstly the rooms are ideal as is the location in the middle of Troulos. In our 6th stay our hosts Chrisa and George can't do enough for you. The breakfast sandwiches in the shop downstairs are great value and delicious. More than all of this Chrisa and the family are lovely people who make our 3 children feel so welcome. We met them as friends we leave as family. Thanks so much!

Not good value for money
Reviewed By 952dimitrisgI visited Esperos hotel with 2 friends during August. Although the price was good, the quality was poor. The air conditioning was not working properly, parking slots were unavailable some nights. The room was clean, and the cleaners tidy every day but there was no hand soap and no shower curtain for the water. Overall, I recommend it only for a couple of nights if you are on a strict budget.

Situated in a garden of flowers and pine trees, Studios Paraschos is a 10-minute walk from sandy Troulos Beach. It offers fully furnished units with kitchenette and daily maid service. All air-conditioned studios come are with a TV and private bathroom. They are spacious with wooden ceilings. Guests can find restaurants and shops at 150 metres from Paraschos Studios. The town of Skiathos is at 9 km. Skiathos Airport is at 8 km. Free private parking is possible at the Paraschos. Complimentary bicycles are provided upon request and availability.
Good value for money
Reviewed By Stephen WLovely quiet apartments close to Troulos beach & bus stop 20. We had a two bed apartment which was very spacious, it is basic in the typical greek style but very clean, couldn't get the TV to work but we only stayed one night so wasn't a problem. Easy to walk to beach and if you turn left out of the apartments you can walk down to the Sunrise Taverna and bar, here they have good food, drink, a supermarket and pool. If you like to walk then carry on past this bar out onto main road, turn left and you can walk on up into the hills and follow signs for dog shelter (steep walk) or Megalos Asselinos beach (around 3/4 hr walk). For the price these studios are great for a stay in Troulos and good base to explore the island.

Our room, the surroundings, the bar, the pool were all exceptional and appreciated by us to make our stay with you so enjoyable. George, Alex, Spiros and Miltos were always pleased to help whenever asked. (George and Alex thank you for your happy smiling faces each day and in particular your amazing coffee Alex and for your fabulous cocktails George). Our room was cleaned to an extremely high standard every day which was really appreciated. Having been to Skiathos a considerable amount of times in the last 20 years, La Luna continues to be our favourite place to stay. Thank you all for a great holiday. We hope to be lucky enough to stay with you again.

Discovery of a Gem of a spot!
Reviewed By VLA27We are a family of 5, 2 adults, children 14, 7 & 5, we travelled in May 22 for 1 week & stayed in the 3 bedroomed Apartment. Booked last minute about a week before, it was a first visit to the island of skiathos although we have travelled to Greece many times prior. Arrival at the property was interesting as it was getting dark & there is no reception so abit of mooching about I found the owner, stathis, who was very welcoming & showed us the apartment, explained basic housekeeping & then respectfully left us to it. The apartment was fabulous, in a word, Huge! New & spotless fridge/freezer & cooker with halogen hob, microwave/kettle etc, all the rooms are generous & impeccably clean, balcony was ginormous with sea view. The location is stunning on Troulos bay, very quiet & quite small & secluded, there is water sports available, the apartments are literally down a short stones throw path on the beach, with lovely gardens & an area with fruit trees, it is so picturesque & soft sand beach with gentle lapping shore, perfect for kids & so relaxing & peaceful. The snack bar that is on site at the apartments is excellent, good value for money & tasty food, run by costas who is lovely, there is another snack bar abit further along set abit back from the beach & then a hotel at the other end of the beach. Troulos does not have a centre as such, it consists of accommodation & tavernas dotted along the sides of the main road, there’s not really any footpaths so walking out in the evening along the road when it is dark can be abit of a challenge! There is plenty of choice though & the food was delicious at each one we went to, I would recommend the restaurant salt & pepper for a good quality meal in nice surroundings. There is a bus stop & shop selling just about everything approx 150 metres from the apartments. We got the bus into skiathos town one evening & it is a 15 minute bus ride but be prepared as the buses are PACKED! The last one runs at 10pm, we spoke to someone who got a taxi back which was about 16 euros. 2 sun beds & umbrella is 10 Euro, air conditioning is unlimited & free in the apartments. We loved it here, if you are after nightlife & a bustling resort then this is definitely not for you, I would describe it as Greece in old Money, so to speak, un commercialised with old charm. Apartments are not cram packed full of mod cons, which we didn’t want, there was only 1 day the cleaner didn’t come in & the apt was spotless, and I mean spotless! towels & bedding changed aswell. The owner stathis is really approachable, there are no faults I can pick at. I would say the Apt’s would not be overly suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or wheelchair users as they are on different levels & Afew steps especially to some of the higher ones, the only other thing to note is that the beach attracts quite Afew people, they arrive on quad bikes/foot/bus as potentially the beach serves a biggish area so my advice would be bag yourself sun beds early to avoid disappointment if planning a day around the beach. I would recommend this property to anyone, excellent value for money, clean and in a beautiful place, what more is there?!!!

Reviewed By Steve EJust returned from a weeks stay here and all in all it ticks the boxes. Large bedroom with a huge bed and a little ground floor balcony and another seating area near front door. The safe which sat loose in bottom of the wardrobe was promptly fixed to the wall when I asked. Pool is small but clean and there are lots of sun-beds, sofas and easy chairs where you can relax after a long day out. The obviously inoperative jacuzzi with dirty water in it spoils the look and needs to be repaired or removed. Breakfast is ok with a mix of breads, cakes, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, honey, tea, coffee, orange, water, but no cereal, which is a shame. Maria and her staff are friendly if not not particularly engaging. Walk to the beach takes 12 mins, the Victoria bar and restaurant and the excellent ambrosia are 4 mins away as are the bus stops which is well handy after getting off the bus and straight into the bar. The hill up from the road is about 70 metres and is quite steep but is stepped and concrete and not loose stone so if you are relatively mobile, not an issue. Because it’s off the road and up high you don’t hear too much traffic and although there’s not a sea veiw it has a pleasant outlook over orchards of fruit and olive trees and hills in the distance. If you’re not expecting top end but want somewhere clean functional and well positioned, I’d recommend this place and will probably rebook if we return.

Maria very kind and helpful, garden produce often left in fridge for us, nothing too much trouble. Studio really well maintained and cleaned every day Have stayed on many of the Greek islands and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed, will definitely stay here again when we go back to Skiathos
