Lovely location off the main road on an elevated platform with a large lawn of its own adjoining the State Guest House.
Reviewed By Prabir CFresh air every morning & very secured being within the extended campus of the State Guest House. A two storied building with fair sized rooms with great possibilities. Large lawn but not maintained well. AC suites with extra anti rooms are better with families. A canteen run by MUM Caterers on site is the place for breakfast. Lunch & Dinner are optional. The Manager of the Guest House with his group of very motivated boys take care of room service & other customer comforts very well. A tea/coffee maker is provided in rooms but tea/coffee/ milk/sugar sachets are neither supplied nor allowed to use your own. For some reason a preferential allotment of rooms on the first floor are not allowed. We were two families in adjoining suites inclusive of my sons family / children from abroad. We had almost all meals in the canteen that provide a reasonable variety. We both the families had plain Khichdi with boiled vegetables on different dates during our stay for 5-days that unfortunately led a severe food poisoning & medical attention.. Unfortunately we had to curtail a part of the holiday plans. The Manager , though a very conscientious person, it seemed that the MUM Caterers operated rather independently. Airport pickup & drops cannot be booked through the Guest House but are arranged by the Tripura Govt Tourism counter at the Airport who does an excellent job. It takes around half an hour to the Guest House and the cost is reasonable. .

Although I stayed in a suit but other rooms are also quite reasonable compared to price. Further, they provide buffet breakfast . Though choice is less but one can have good breakfast. Staffs are friendly. Food in the restaurant is very testy. Specially the Hilsa . One can definitely choose this hotel during their visit to Agartala.

Reviewed By nandi2016Excellent tourist lodge just on the bank of Rudrasagar lake, excellent view of sagarmahal can be seen here from the watch tower of this lodge. The rooms are big and excellent rooms with TV. Net & clean. The food they provided was also excellent. Room tariff is around Rs 900/- for AC double bed room, Breakfast is complimentary with the tariff. The best part is that the staff are very nice and always helpful. Boat for Sagarmahal [ Neermahal ] is available from the nearby ferry ghat. very calm place for enjoying with peace. . Huge parking place inside,Highly recommended

There is NO RECEPTION,NO STAFFS Go there if you want to spoil your vacation We had the worst experience ever during our travel Seems they have tied up with multiple agencies for booking A small property with only 5-6 rooms and they take booking over it Then they will transfer to another hotel or a guest house saying its their property which ISNT theirs.They are equally fed up with them as well We had done booking in month of August for November trip and we faced some unwanted problems. They said they will make provision for early check in which they didnt. They transferred us to another property which wasnt nearby and then asked to stay their which was equally pathetic It is out of Udaipur City They dont have a power back up as well. If there is load shedding it looks like a haunted house Never visit this property again Its the worst of all. If there would have being negative rating i would have rated that as well

Disappointing
Reviewed By pravi61Eden Tourist Lodge by Tripura Government is the only accommodation option in Vanghmun, Jampui hills and is not maintained well. Rooms are fairly big, but dusty, full of insects and bathrooms are very dirty and unacceptable. We, a group of friends spent a very uncomfortable night and checked out very early in the morning. Vegetarian food cooked on request was quite palatable. Roads to Jampui hills are being widened and construction work in progress has made the place and forest very dusty. Jampui Hills are best visited between November and February. Its worth visiting after the road and accommodation facilities get better. Having seen other developed hill stations, our visit to Jampui hills was very unpleasant due to the shabby accommodation.

Reviewed By Shresthanjan NLocation is center of Agartala, near laxmi narayan temple. 15 mins walk to jagannath mandir and ujjyanta palace. But room are untidy, especially the sheets. Prices per room are epensive. Auto stand is nearby for city tours.

Nice Tourist lodge badly maintained
Reviewed By nandi2016This lodge is nicely located near the Tripurasundari Temple but the maintenance is very bad. Only 02 rooms are having TV. For food you are tell in advance so that they can arrange or prepare. The staff were very nice and helpful and they prepared simple but nice food for us. One thing the tourism department must consider for white bed sheet not printed as they provided. The hotel is specious and dining hall also large. For one night stay near Devi temple can be easily accepted when the staff were very nice particularly the manager.
