Reviewed By Roy WWe really enjoyed our stay at pension Verdorfer. The garden is lovely to relax in, the beds are comfortable and the staf/family is very polite and friendly. We felt very welcomed the second we arrived. Breakfast is tasty as well.

Fantastic in South Tirol
Reviewed By thesearch12This was a fantastic place in south Tiriol / Northern Italy - A nights stay here as I was driven down from Wurzburg in Germany and then eventually Cortina. Set a little high in a valley you have a that farm or homely feel, It is not centrally located but that was fine for a nights stay. The Lady that checked us in couldn't speak English that well But I did work out she was the same age and she was still fantastic with her hospitaly.The room was very roomy and clean - Yes is Internet bit not in the rooms but in the common areas or seemed to work best closer to the modem or reception. Dinner was great and it seemed to be cheaper than the Wies bier I bought - and breakfast was fine too.

The Panorama Pension Etschblick located in the middle of nature on the slopes of Altopiano del Salto and offers everything for a relaxing holiday: a beautiful view over the Adige Valley and a very good position to start your hiking and cycling. Our guests especially appreciate the location next to the funicular Vilpiano-Meltina, because as you can reach the nearby cities of Bolzano and Merano, not only by car (about 30 minutes) but is also just using public transport. You can use the bus of Altopiano del Salto on the mountain Moreover here. In clean and inviting decorated rooms, we offer our guests a pleasant stay. Our rooms are all equipped with shower/WC or bath/WC with cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, telephone, TV and FREE Wireless Lan and almost exclusively balcony. We place special emphasis on the meals we serve. With a nutrient-rich breakfast buffet, you can start to an active day. In the evening you can enjoy a varied salad buffet and a three-course meal from South Tyrolean and Mediterranean cuisine, refined with what our garden offers. During summer there is a weekly barbecue on the terrace and in the fall there’s a typical South Tyrolean “Torggelen”. We are pleased to frame a few relaxing days with your holiday in South Tyrol. Reviewed By Hans Peter BWe first visited Panoramapension Etschblick in 2011 and have been back at least once a year ever since. Make no mistake, this is not a five star hotel with swimmingpool, sauna and several restaurants. It is actually a little worn out and only accessible by a narrow road. But it has something that you don't find anywhere else. It offers spectacular views over the valley and mountains between Bolzano and Merano. The hotel is located just opposite the cable car to Vilpian (in the valley) and next to the bus stop for the small shuttle bus that runs between Jenesien and Falzeben. It means that you have access to the entire area around Bolzano and Meran without the need for using your own car. You can even get to and from the place with public transportation if needed. Hannelore, who owns and run the hotel, is also a talented chef and the evening meal is always something to look forward to. Her two kids (Jana and Elia) are very cute and fun to have a chat with. We are big fans of Panoramapension Etschblick and hope to be back again very soon.

Best Location in Town
Reviewed By PugWxWe stayed here for two nights in early September! The hotel is directly across the road from the Ciampinoi cable car and maybe 10 min walk from the dantracepies! Our room had a balcony with a great view of the mountain and the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Nice restaurant with a lovely terrace to eat/ have a drink with a view of the mountains, Main Street and ski lift. The hotel had a really nice homely feel to it, and the owner was very helpful with advice on activities, weather conditions etc. we will definitely be back! Tremendous value given the location.
