This hotel try to rip you off
Reviewed By Timmy0505This hotel is a collection of what u expect not to have. So dont visit. First they didnt tell you that you cant bring drink into the resort then charge us 2000 THB when we arrived. After paying 2000 THB, i asked for a bucket of ice and they insist on charging 50THB per bucket. This is absolutely bad experience. My dinner experience was horrible where food serve took over an hour and there were 5 tables only. Next the airblade in the room is broken. I couldnt sleep all night because it is either too hot or too cold when i try to adjust it. Moreover, we couldnt connect to wifi and it is the only entertainment mean we can get since there is no cable TV. Thus, u have to rent DVD from the lobby....... who doest that nowsaday. This hotel is lack of customer attention. I strongly do not recommend visiting. There are other newer hotel with better service quality.

Reviewed By zacharyd566After an uncomfortable and unenjoyable stay at Indie Beach, I relocated to Pajamas. Pajamas is great - un-pretentious, impeccably well kept and inexpensive. It was nice to have a quality night's sleep! I stayed in a double room. The beds are wonderful. I even contacted them after our stay to find out what exact pillows they use, so I could buy them for my own home. Everything felt clean, and the shower was good. The communal area is a nice touch - it has comfortable furniture and hammocks to relax in, with an open plan indoor/outdoor design. The staff made us feel welcome but left us alone after that. Perfect! As I was on a working trip, wifi was important. The wifi here is reliable and fast, perfect for long days of zoom meetings. There is also lots of space to work undisturbed. I would have given 5 stars if it was ON the beach, but it's just 1 minute walk from a beautiful beach. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Pajamas again, and will recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Koh Chang on a budget.

Coconut garden is a small bungalow resort in Bang Bao. There are 7 stone air-conditioned bungalows, 3 wooden fan bungalows and two twinrooms with airconditioning and a shared bathroom. There is also a nice swimmingpool.

Reviewed By SouthgateGobblerWe have just checked in and are really disappointed. The Dutch owners have long fled the country and that was the key attraction for booking here. The air con didn't work in my first room. Second room had no TV and spider webs everywhere. Lizards and mosquitos populating the room. WiFi doesn't reach my room. Tomorrow I am going to search for a hotel. The high ratings of this are a long distant memory I'm afraid.

Best place to stay in Lonely Beach
Reviewed By shonac978This is my favourite place to stay on Lonely Beach. I have spent alot of time in Koh Chang and will return to Cafe Del Sunshine everytime. I have stayed in both dorm and bungalow. The prices for both are really reasonable when considering the quality of the accommodation. It is a very clean hostel and there are always lots of lovely travellers to meet. The showers are always warm and the wi-fi never had any problems. Due to location it can get a little loud at night, which is the same for most hostels in Lonely Beach. I stayed in the dorm for over 2 weeks and slept well most nights. The staff are the best part. They are understanding, respectful and will make sure everything is as it should be during your stay. You can rent scooters for a reasonable price and book trips from the main desk. The cafe has a great menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert) both western and Thai food and very reasonably priced. They have some of the best shakes and coffees I have had in the area. This place is ideal for budget backpackers and travellers. It is a very social place, but also somewhere you can relax and take time out. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away and there are lots of shops and restaurants around. I highly recommend staying here.

Elephant Bay Resort (EBR) is located south-west on the island of Koh Chang, in Bailan Bay. The resort has a big garden with lots of room to play sports such as volleyball and badminton, hang-out in one of the several hammocks or just enjoy the sun by the pool. It is both a place to be by yourself and to meet people. Moreover, the resort is surrounded by walls and with only one entrance and exit, will make your stay as relaxed and private as possible. All rooms are decorated in the same style, yet none are the same and they each have their own personality. The restaurant and bar area has a funky, colorful look and invites you to mingle with other guests.
Sea is all rocks, no beach, hot water 15 baht
Reviewed By forrestg824Rooms are small and extreme basic, tiny space around the bed to walk, two shelves to put stuff on. Bed sheets have oily stains. Don't expect anyting from the rooms. They charge 15 baht for a cup of hot water, very strange. View and sunset is so nice. But no beach at all and sea is all rock bottom, you need special shoes to walk in this sea.

Perfect get away!

The room is modern, clean, very comfy bed (like very comfy worlds away from some I have slept on thought out my Thailand travels) air- con, small sofa, fridge, water provided, soap, hair dryer, microwave, hot plate, coffee and tea. All perfect for a quiet get away. Set off the main road in the forest where you can hear the gentle buzz of insects and actually see the stars! Our host was lovely, speaks very good English and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed By anttit2016I enjoyed my stay here so much that I ended up staying here for a couple of weeks. This place feels like your own living room with a good friends around you. BJ is nicely located, near the lonely beach center, but still far enough to have its own peaceful area. I met some great people here, including Adam&Jeen, who are running this place with such a nice touch! I stayed in a dorm, in a fan room, and in a deluxe bungalow (wanted to try them all :), and they're all great options. If you want to have a relaxing atmosphere when staying in a lonely beach area, I can highly recommend Beach Jungle!

Perfect for stop over
Reviewed By BeijingbishWe stopped over here for a night before traveling to Chang the next day. Pool was brilliant, service was excellent and the king room was divine. The family that run it could not do enough for you, great hosts. Not a great deal else there so good news that the food was excellent and great value. For us to break up the journey with a long one it was perfect and I would do it again in the blink of an eye!
