We had lunch here last year and loved it so much that we had to return this time around. Not only we returned but had lunch here 2 out of 3 days. The service is friendly and helpful even during the busiest hours, the food is always hot and tasty. Totally recommend the Gulas (Hungarian beef stew) , the White bean soup with smoked ham served in bread is also very tasty and the Pork Chop with onion jam is a great combo that you should try. On top of this, add the very convenient location and you have the recipe to a perfect lunch.Will return - good job Thank you very much for your kind words Maddy ! Based on TA reviews and proximity to our hotel (Safrano Palace) we decided to grab a late lunch at this restaurant. The dishes were very interesting and tasty, a bit different than I was used to in other restaurants (including in Greece) but very good. Service was excellent and prices reasonable. Their reputation and TA rating seems well deserved.

We liked everything we ate there, food and smoothies are great; the staff is very friendly, The only minus is that we have to wait some time for the food. I don't know if that;s only during weekends (we ate there on a Sunday and Saturday morning), but we have to wait like 30 minutes for our food to come. Other than that everything was perfect, totally recommend it! We will come back to try the pancakes.

In two days, we were twice in this restaurant, that's how good the food, service and atmosphere were. Not too many dishes on menu and all perfectly designed and executed. Friendly owner made us feel really welcome.. Over all, fantastic experience.

I wouldnât expect such a good Italian restaurant in this town....Tuna Tartare amazing, but nothing can compete against the tagliolini with trouffles! Absolutely superb....Try also the fettuccine done with spinach & shrimps.Also the tiramisù itâs extremely good!Very kind service and fair prices....Super recommended!

Located at the entrance to Poiana Brasov (far from public transport) in a fairy tale landscape.Romanian restaurant belonging to the group "Sergiana" recognized for its own meat dishes.The salon decorated in the style of oak, although in summer series many prefer the terrace.Dear guest,We kindly thank you for your appreciations. You are always welcome in our restaurants either for romanian traditional cuisine that we manage in Brasov, RâÈnov and Poiana BraÈov at Sergiana, Ceasuâ RÄu, Sub-Cetate(close to the Rasnov fortress), Stâna TuristicÄ(in Poiana BraÈov), or for international cuisine at Casa Tudor or Bistro&Pizza Nec's . Our experience at Coliba Haiducilor has been more than disappointing on all levels. First of all, as regards the level of service, we were shocked by the lack of minimum politeness displayed by the staff. As we were a couple and the staff is obviously focused on large groups, they simply left us waiting for almost 20 min, although there seemed to be plenty of tables available. When we were finally seated at a table, a waiter came and demanded that we moved to another salon because the respective salon was actually reserved for a very large groups of diplomats that required some privacy...just like in the good old communist days....as a Romanian, I felt ashamed and revolted by this type of unprofessional behavior. As regards food, the menu is all about grilled meat, steaks and sarmale. As a connaisseur of Romanian food, I must say that the food is not bad but not as tasty as it should be. You can tell it is prepared in a haste, without attention to details (for example, the vegetables in the so called traditional peasant rice are supposed to be fresh not freezed).As far as decoration and cleanliness are concerned, the place is decorated in a typical traditional style but a lot more attention is required to the level of cleanliness.

The service was perfect and the food was excellent! The place is very lovely, the garden with the beautiful terace where we had the dinner. Gorgeous location, overall!The waiting time was also short, taking in consideration the number of guests.Great variety of wines, also.

The waiter needed some time to come but he was very friendly, tried to help me through the menu and recommended the homemade pasta. Was delicious and the lemonade too. Then he recommended some non alcoholic blueberry drink. A must try !
