Nice Hotel with friendly hosts in a qiuet area close to the amalfi coast
Reviewed By MarbrolThe rooms are nice and clean. The hosts Marika and Generoso are very helpful and friendly. The Italian Breakfast is very good. It takes about 5 min by car to Maiori at the Amalfi coast. There is a Parking area at the Hotel. Public Bus Stations are close. The hotel is surrounded by lemontrees upon a small hill. It is a lovely quiet place to start excursions to all the interesting sites around like Naples, Pompej, Paestum etc. or to relax after swimming and sunbathing at the amalfi coast beaches. A car is needed.

One of Italy’s great restaurants
Reviewed By kkerrytWe were staying at hotel bel air and the manager recommended this restaurant as they provided a free shuttle service to and from our hotel.. so we tried it out and were so glad we did the food is lovely with fresh catch of the day and chefs recommendations, we ate here twice during our stay something we rarely do as its good to try all different alternatives but because everything coming out the kitchen looked amazing we felt we wanted to return for other dishes that we didn’t have the room for first visit.. we were overwhelmed at the service as one evening after dining here we decided to go into the main square for a nightcap and the manager arranged for us to be driven into town after dinner and collected from the square at midnight and delivered back to our hotel..!! Amazing service and all free..!! As taxis are expensive in Sorrento.... The staff are warm friendly and very Italian which we love.. Definitely deserves a five star rating and Of course we will return when next in Sorrento..

Location lovely, management poor
Reviewed By Julie BThe Tramonti valley is peaceful and verdant, a welcome escape from the business and chaos of the coast road. The steep hillsides are clothed on terraces replete with vines and lemon trees (and home to some excellent lemoncello) so it's a great place to stay. The hotel drive is steep and winding but there is enough parking on the flat. The management appears young and rather too relaxed - no- one in reception to show us too our room until the chef who runs the restaurant came to our aid. The room was spacious with a balcony and a lovely view. It was clean and in good order except the fridge didn't work. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was minimal. No milk for cereal and we has to ask for some juice. The croissants were good but it was that or rolls pretty much. Not impressed. A plus was the excellent meal we had in the first floor restaurant, run as a completely separate business. 4 of us had a 3 course meal with huge delicious steaks and excellent wine for 97€, which we felt was great value. The locally made lemoncello was complementary. I would highly recommend eating here if you do stay here.

It is immersed in a green and relaxing environment just 3 km away from the town and the beach of Maiori. In this place you can breathe healthy air and the atmosphere of the Amalfi Coast. All apartments have been renovated in 2017 and a shuttle service is available in specific hours.
Amazing base great views peaceful

Two slightly noisy and curiously cute dogs greeted us on arrival and were there when we left each day. If you have your own transport, this is a brilliant base for seeing all of the amalfi coast on a budget. There is a superb pizza place up the road (75metres) where we watched Liverpool win the champions league (ynwa) and the chef even let me have a go in the pizza oven. Sorry this took me so long to leave this review. Oh and the breakfast was included - nice little cakes, enough to get u started for the day . Thank you xxx very close to the town of Maiori - about a 8 min drive down hill and you're on the amalfi coast! Enjoy

Reviewed By Simon FNot to be missed if you love peace and quiet as well as lovely food and drink! The hosts are truly lovely and the house is family run. They have several rooms if you wish to stay the night, I went for dinner recently just to try a new place and boy I am glad that we did! Lovely place surrounded by woods and greenery, super setting and the food was superb, all for 20 Euro each!! We will surely return....

Reviewed By suelingloSix of us had a cooking class at Agriturismo Il Tintore in Capitignano Tramonti, near Amalfi. Rafaela was a wonderful teacher and we had a great time making delicious Italian food. Would recommend this class to anyone. It was the highlight of our trip to the Amalfi Coast.

Not so charming
Reviewed By Annemette FWe visited Case Vacanze Angiola in july 2018 and we did not like the place at left without staying for the night. The pictures of the hotel on the internet does not fit what you see when you get there. There was garbagr at the entrance, the swimming pool is not a real pool and in general it did not seem very clean. The room and balcony was very run down and needed paint as it was falling of. The garden wasn’t taken care of and didn’t seem so great which is a pity as it is there most people would sit. The view of the mountains is fine, but you can get that in other places too. The owner was not very polite and spoke very little English. But if you are used to hostels and are on a low budget vacation it may be okay to go there - but down expect too much.
