The Independence Hall of Korea

Reviewed By Sean B - Cairo, Egypt

The architecture of Independence Hall is striking and slightly Stalinist. The surrounding parks are quite beautiful in the Spring. The highlight for me though was definitely the museum. While I don't doubt that there's a fair amount of one sidedness and the exhibits can get a little propagandaish, the museum is an interesting look at the Japanese occupation. It's a good way to gauge how the Korean government and many Koreans view their past relationship with Japan and why there is so much bad blood between the two peoples even today.

There was good temple among Korea many temple. I've many temples in Korea, there was one of beautiful temple, I think. There was a big Buddha, some people went around it praying. There was beautiful buildings and had good smell, clearing ringing sound. I were satisfied with sightseeing, sound and scent. I always felt good in Korea temples. Good palce to make calm.

Tedin Water Park

We visited the Water Park even though it was winter and freezing outside.
Was surreal to be able to be in swimsuits. Water was warm and nice and kids had a blast at this place. It's not extremely big but good enough if you want the kids to burn off some energy.

Not much happens at Cheonan Sports Complex, but it is the best sporting facility in Cheonan. You will find volleyball games here occasionally, as well as an ice rink in winter

Gwangdeoksa Temple

Reviewed By Carl B - South Korea

For this travel I found myself in the hills of Cheonan, south Korea at the Gwangdeoksa Temple. I have been looking for a temple since arriving in Korea six months ago. The temple was decorated with paper lanterns in preparation for a celebration the following week. I've been to other temples in Asia and while this was nice it lacked the serenity I was expecting. This is a working temple where Buddhist monks reside. At the time of my visit construction was apparent and the monks were overseeing it. I don't know if this temple is getting away from it's roots by making it a tourist attraction for outsiders.

This temple located in the hillside, so it had good landscape. But there was not big than I think. There was a good place to visit on passing the way, and enjoy Cheonan's landscape. The mural and state of the Buddha was worth seeing, but so-so.

This museum was not one building, and located in building of Postal Department's Training Institute. So accessibility was not good. But this museum's theme was very interesting and had Korean post history. There was not big, but content was good, I think.

Sangnok Aquapia

Reviewed By David B - Pyeongtaek, South Korea

This water park has both indoor and outdoor attractions. The indoor facility is heated, has a lazy river, 5 slides, a children's play area, a Loterria, and a couple of heated pools (온수풀). The water park opens at 10 am; I suggest going early since the crowds come around 1:00 pm or so.
For those who have never been a Korean water park, you have to wear a shirt, shorts, and a HAT (swim cap or even baseball cap is fine). All children must wear a life vest (which are conveniently available for rent for ₩4,000 each). Additionally, you might want to wear water shoes since the grips on the floor mats can hurt your feet AND there seems to be large sections of the water park with green tile mold. I wasn't too worried about it but want to make sure people are aware of it.
