The Changdao County is a county in Yantai, an area of Shandong in the People's Republic of China. It consists of the Changshan Islands (zh:长山列岛) in the Bohai Sea, north of Penglai. They are known for their sandy beaches and picturesque limestone cliffs. The total land area is only 56 square kilometers (22 sq mi), but the coastline is 146 km (91 mi) long.

It is a rocky beach with beautiful small round stones. We came in May and it was not hot enough yet to swim. But it was a beautiful day to just sit at the beach. There were stalls on o buy snacks and souvenirs. There is also a lot of water activities so you would not be bored. I wish I could stay here for a longer time. The water and the beach seemed very clean.

We took the tour to see the Million Bird Island and the shear amount of birds, mainly seagulls, that followed the boat was amazing. You can buy the little meat sticks to feed the birds from the boat, but I would suggest buying a sack full before you go. The gulls won't eat bread, so don't waste your money. It is really a lot of fun to toss the food into the air and watch the gulls catch it and sometimes steal it from each other.

8月24日下午我在崖顶入厕，见一蹲坑内满是沫坑后壁有拉稀贱的粪点，还可见一燃点像是燃尽的香头，也没多想赶紧方便，完事后站起向后看找冲水装置，突然有一声音；你怎么不对准坑呢，吓我一跳，扭头看见一张长脸横眉力目瞪着我，我说这不是我拉的，他说问谁也不承认。我推开门档看见他脚下有一桶水，桶内有一刷子，这分明是来刷蹲坑的，我就不明白他明知不是我拉的为啥还要为难我，不然他为么提一桶水到这坑前；可能是有怨气撒到我头上了。我反驳一句他提着棍子追到厕所外，人在外地也只能忍了，游客旅游玩的是心情，上厕所遭到追打头一回遇到，郁闷。建议旅游管理官员加强对保洁人员的素质教育，不要拿游客当贼打，让游客有美好的回忆，不要让游客把游地当伤心地。

Most of the tour guide will tell you to take an aerial view from the top. But i would suggest you to walk down to the seaside and walk along the path by the sea. The wave was strong during that day, the water splash on us due to the strong wave. However, i really enjoy the scenery.
