We were walking through town looking for a bite to eat and because of the location, thought we would see how the place was. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside...lots to look at going by. Service was fast and friendly. Wife had a shrimp open face Sandwich and I had the smoked salmon open face Sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. Great presentation and fresh ingredients. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next day. Only thing I noticed was I believe they spoiled me the first day because there was a fair amount more smoked salmon on my first Sandwich than on the next day's but still a generous amount. Haven't eaten at that many places while in town but this was the best for us. Highly recommended if in the area.

This restaurant is also an holiday resort, but a truly horrible on at that.
Had one night stay in an ok apartment, beds were hard, firealarm went off when using the microwave... why use the microwave? Because the restaurant was naturally closed...
Arrived around 6 in the evening and wanted a bite to eat only to find that the all but closed restaurant required reservation made before 2pm that sunday in the reception... a reception which closed at 1pm.
Next morning we were informed that we could buy breakfast in the restaurant... which we didn't have to pay for because this also had to be preordered the day before at 2pm.
THE worst resort and restaurant i have EVER stayed at.
If you ever choose this place, I would wish you good luck and I would rather recommend a visit to the supermarket...

Me and my family have eaten several times at Strandcafeen during the last 15 years. July 2014 being the most recent. It has not changed much during the years. The food is quite average and nothing out of the ordinarie. Its ok but don't expect anything more.
The surroundings are very nice with Skiveren being a very nice area. There is excellent mini golf and a beach in close proximity to Strandcafeen.

First of all; this is a fish store with some fast food kitchen services. The menu is short, only about 10-12 items. At the day we went there they could only serve about 2/3 of them. So, we had some "fish filet with fries" and "stjerneskudd" (fried fish with some crimps).
The food was not good at all. The fish filet and fries came without any vegetables or anything, while the "stjerneskudd" was over fried and came with a lot of dressing. The fries tasted s***, and was probably cooked in old cooking oil. We will never come here again.
Positive things; quite fast service and low prices

Cafe and takeaway down by the harbour. Had a large portion of breaded plaice and chips, freshly cooked and served piping hot. Just the job after exploring the lighthouse, the bunker museum, sand dunes and beach on a breezy October day. Good friendly service.

If you need your ice cream close to the beach as for the traditional sundowner on Tversted strand here is the place to go.
The offer Premier Is which is really good.
Staff is friendly and the guf is good as well as the waffles. The also have a good selection of toppings "drys" and soft ice as well.
Hick up is the long queue of people at peak times, but as a tipp you can also use the former gul icehus a little up the road. They are now also part of the Bla Ishus (!) and hence have the same quality but small or no queue!

In compensò personale gentile locale grande pulito, noi abbiamo mangiato fuori.non si mangia male .bagni puliti.
