Hirtshals is a town and seaport on the coast of Skagerrak on the island of Vendsyssel-Thy at the top of the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark, Europe. It is located in Hjørring municipality in Region Nordjylland. The town of Hirtshals has a population of 5,959 (1 January 2014). Located on the Skagerrak, it is especially known for its fishing and ferry harbours.

We had a really nice time a the Ocenarium. Some of the Aquariums were really cool, especially the large one (stay for the shark feeding if possible). We also enjoyed the seal pool and the tunnel underneath the pool were you could get a closer look.
The only real downside was the quite expensive entry fee plus the rather overpriced food in the restaurant. I would recommend bringing you own snack if possible.

As its free to visit it's worth a look round. Some of the bunkers are inaccessible due to being locked up but it give a good impression of what it must have been like

It's a nice place !! Expect a lots of physical activity inside it . It's full of farm animals and some wild animals and birds too . It's worth visiting .

Hirtshals kirke er en nyere kirke, som blev bygget i 1908. Byen, som er en fisker- og havneby fik sin helt egen kirke og bygget for en sum af 35.000 kr. I 1964-1965 iværksattes en udvidelse af bygningen og har siden bestået af et langhus med tårn og sidetage og pyramidespir, som er tækket med tegl.
De Smithske Støberier i Ålborg støbte den fine klokke.
Kirken i hvid fremstår som en ny og moderne kirke og betjener 5.361 medlemmer i sognet.

This sits adjacent to the water which divides Islands and peninsulas of Denmark. The cemetery is beautifully maintained and worth seeing. The church was open for visitors. The white exterior was in good condition. The church offices were in an adjacent building.

Vi besøgte denne landsbykirke i dag og kunne komme ind i kirken sidst på dagen. Der lød orgelmusik allerede fra i indgangen, og vi kom ind i en varm kirke, hvor organisten sad og spillede. For ikke at forstyrre hende trak vi os hurtigt ud igen.
