This is a chain, but service was fast. The food was tasty, we had a soup which was tasty and a pasta salad that we shared. Simple but reasonably priced and tasty!

Taj Mahal

Ein Bokek is a hotel complex by the Dead Sea with few independent restaurants. The Taj Mahal is one of the only free standing restaurants and it is a more pleasant, cheaper and better quality place to eat than the hotel restaurants.

Ate at Taj Majal based on other TripAdvisor reviews during our one night in Ein Bokek, and were sorely disappointed. To be fair, we had not eaten previously in the restaurant at our hotel, so perhaps the excitement is solely in comparison to mediocre hotel meals. But on its own, the food and service at Taj Mahal were pretty middling.
Ordered the mixed grill for two, which came with assorted salads, falafel, hummus, fries, and an assortment of grilled meats. Salads were all completely unappealing vs. the abundant salads we'd eaten throughout the rest of Israel. Falafel were good but over-salted. The mixed grill arrived lukewarm and nothing was particularly good -- merguez sausages were so dry as to be nearly inedible, beef was bland, kebab and chicken paled in comparison to others we had eaten elsewhere. Even the pitcher of lemonade seemed stale!
Our server could not have been more indifferent, which didn't improve on the mediocre dining experience. Food was also rather overpriced considering the quality. We were in a hurry to leave. If the restaurant food is really that bad, it's a tolerable meal, but certainly nothing to remember.

Reasonable menu but nothing exceptional. Pleasant outdoor Seating area, though the music was loud and monotonous.
Took some time to catch the eye of a waiter and they initially brought through an incorrect order, meaning one of us had to watch the other eat. Credit card machine also broke down so had to wait for 5 minutes while the waiter disappeared with my credit card to the next door shop in order to generate a bill.

There are few meat restaurants in Ein Bokek, so we ate there three times in one week. The skewered meats were consistently good: we tried the lamb and the chicken (didn't try beef). The French fries were made of real potatoes, and the salads hit the spot. Will definitely return next time we are at the Dead Sea.

Beef Point Grill-Bar Dead Sea

I arrived to the Dead Sea about 1 o'clock and was rather hungry after driving from Haifa. The only choice was kebab in a baguette. But the problem was that a new skewer had to be put in place. That took about 20 minutes. After waiting and sipping on my beer I finally got my baguette. It filled my stomach but not much more.

In our way to the Dead Sea, we decided to eat in Arad, we choose this restaurant on TripAdvisor. We ordered the kapourichi pizza and a caprese salad. Both of them were delicious and excellent. The pizza was crispy and rich. All the ingredients were fresh, good quality. The Buffalo cheese also. The service was good and welcoming. Very good surprise. The price was reasonable. Very recommended
