Questo piccolo frequentatissimo localino di Monte offre una pizza buonissima, e inoltre fa dell'ottimo streetfood: mozzarelle in carrozza fatte da loro, non industriali, palline di patate (purtroppo non le ho prese, peccato!), panzerottini fritti, ed altre sfiziosità . Ci sono tavolini fuori e dentro per sedersi ed il servizio è gratuito. Impagabile la vista del paesino dalla piccola piazzetta nella quale sono ubicati i tavolini. After 1.000 km drive and comming rather late to the hotel with same name (and location) eating here was logical choice.We were first a bit sceptical as the reviews are not so good but it was unjustified fear.The service was super friendly and food of good quality and nice taste.We had a selection of Puglian appetisers to start with and than each ordered something else (pasta, pizza).Everything was good and of sufficient quantity. We had red house wine and was good and fresh. On the end we were served with good limoncelo to round a nice evening. All in all - very good and reasonably priced.

Ho cenato col mio compagno in questa location stupenda. il cibo ottimo ma il servizio ha lasciato un po' a desiderare. in una location di questo livello ci si aspetta che i piatti vengano serviti e descritti, con un minimo di presentazione, in realtà ci hanno serviti in fretta senza dire alcunché. inoltre, benché siano presenti più sale ci hanno fatti accomodare in una dove vi erano diversi bambini piccini che col loro baccano (in fin dei conti sono bambini...) non ci hanno permesso una piacevole chiacchierata. Certo è che una location di tal spessore dovrebbe considerare come trattare i clienti.

In November lots of restaurants are closed. This one opens at 7 p.m. except Wednesday. We experienced excellent service and delicious meal. We had spaghetti al pomodoro and grilled cheese with green salad. At first we returned the cheese to be grilled some extra time but then it was perfect. The wine was good as well (we are used to drink excellent Austrian wine). Overall really recommendable.

Locale napoletano a pochi passi dalla basilica di San Michele Arcangelo. Qui troverete pizza a portafoglio, crocchè di patate,frittate di maccheroni,nuvole Napoletane e tante altre cose tutte rigorosamente fatte a mano.

Simple joint but great for having a quick tasty bite. Either sit inside or take away. Staff is friendly and polite. Nice place!

We enjoyed the two different antipasti dishes we had, there were a number of different items to try and were all reasonable quality. Problem was that, before we were anywhere near finished they brought the pasta! We were beginning to feel rushed. One of the dishes, with whole Gambero, was quite good, but my muscle pasta had a salty sauce that seemed to have relied on a stock cube and tasteless muscles.So we were then presented with the side dish for the secundi while still eating the pasta. The meats were OK but my mouth was so salty by then I couldn't really taste the food. The red and the white house wines were both a bit rough. Not at all good value for the â¬60 charged

La Rocca has an ideal location, with one whole side of the restaurant consisting of windows with expansive views out to the sea far below. The space is somewhat understated but elegant, with linen table clothes, candles, and neutral colors throughout. The menu is varied, with a lot of seafood options. Pizza is also available. The food was beautifully presented, and very, very good. The menu changes regularly based on what is seasonally available - the highlight of our visit was a fresh ravioli stuffed with mozzarella di bufala with an arugula pesto. Desserts were also very good. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. Somewhat oddly, we couldn't find the name of the restaurant anywhere on the exterior at all, but we're glad we found this gem.

Wondering in Monte Sant'Angelo for a quick visit to this amazing place, during our holiday in Puglia, when, hungry as never before we decided to eat something...Italian. So, pizza it was!! And what a pizza!!!! DELICOIUS!!! The place is lovely and you will feel welcomed as soon as you step in. The amazing Pizzaiolo is Giovanni, a funny, lovely guy. Very polite. If you will ever be around Monte Samt'Angelo, please go and have a very good pizza with very great people welcoming you in a warm way, that only Italians can do.

We ate here on a one night stay in Monte Sant'Angelo. Lovely setting with attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious - very interesting antipasti and the the best fillet steak I've eaten in a long while. Desserts were served in little glass pots and very tasty. Would definitely recommend.
