Here hospitality takes on a new meaning through sensory experience with a pleasant blending of food, wine, territory and history. The hotel is a 'child' of the oldest winery in Apulia, Cantina Leone de Castris, and has 24 comfortable rooms, each tied to the story of one of the Winery's labels. Our hotel offers wine lovers and experts, but also curious travellers, authentic stories to live; a combination of tastes, smells and sights that can only be found in this beautiful territory
EXPENSIVE but GRIM! 2 star max.
Reviewed By BrideWestSussexThis hotel was very expensive and the hotel pictures looked lovely. When we pulled up in the taxi, we, and the taxi driver, thought we had come to the wrong hotel-it was GRIM and looked nothing like the pictures we had seen! When it states it is a winery we envisaged a vineyard with fields of grapes, whereas the reality is that it is part of a factory in an industrial area. We finally found our way to reception, lovely staff, then our bedroom. That was a further shock, the furnishings were a horrible shade of purple, very dark with zig-zag stripes-everywhere, truly awful. And then there was breakfast... we had been asked to indicate what we wanted to eat on a form provided at check in. The staff then failed to even read what we had ordered and we got bits and pieces, brought out bit by bit, or not as we discovered-not what we had ordered and it was rather chaotic. 4 star is is absolutely not, probably 2 star max, less charm than a travel lodge. Such was our dismay that as soon as we checked in we sought another hotel successfully and checked out the following morning.

Reviewed By Alissia PMy boyfriend and I were booked a night but decided to stay one more because of the stunning location in the middle of nowhere perfect to relax and fully live the lands of Puglia. The host was extremely kind. I spent loads of time to chat with her and she suggested us awesome restaurants and where to buy local products. Big and varied breakfast with homemade cakes and fresh food. An experience I’ll never forget. A place I’d like to take all my family and friends. I’ll definitely go back!

Reviewed By jabaveWe, as in my wife, my 3 kids aged 4, 5 and 6 and me, spent 12 nights at Borgo Fiore end of July - beginning of August 2020 and it was simply marvelous. Marilde and Lorenzo, their family and staff are the friendliest of hosts and did everything to make us feel at home straight away without ever getting pushy. The house, our high ceiling room and garden were very spacious and there was a very authentic feel to the whole of the accommodation without any compromise on comfort. We tremendously enjoyed the sunsets and views on olive tree orchards surrounding the domain from the chairs on the huge terrace located at the first floor. The kids still talk about the many hours they spent jumping from the diving board in the pool after our daily trips to the many gem towns in Salento (Lecce, Brindisi, Oria, Martina Franca, Ostuni, Gallipolli, ...) within 1 hour driving radius at most... Although located next to the main road connecting two small towns, once inside the walled domain we never noticed the traffic with the garden and house being well sealed off from it and the convenience of being able to hit the road quickly for a visit, to fetch groceries or to go for dinner actually felt more like an advantage. One of the best family holidays we had so far, seldomly we have been so sad to leave when our holiday finally came to an end. If we visit the Salento again without a doubt we would stay over at Borgo Fiore again.

Reviewed By EnyaeGemixNon si merita neanche una stella! servizio inesistente, pulizia inesistente, siamo arrivati nel B&B e il proprietario sembrava un vecchio ubriacone, sembrava si fosse appena alzato da dormire ci ha accolto dicendoci che non c'era più la nostra camera (l'aveva data ad altri NONOSTANTE L'AVESSIMO PRENOTATA) e per accontentarci ci ha sistemato in un alloggio al piano terra piu esattamente in un garage con mobili pieni di effetti personali, sporco, con muffa da tutte le parti, ragni e ragnatele, scatoloni di oggetti personali come se fosse un ripostiglio o un deposito, senza aria condizionata, servizi igienici terrificanti con rubinetti incrostati, lenzuola apparentemente bianche ma una volta spiegate mostravano segni evidenti di polvere (erano li chissà da quando) .......è stato un vero incubo ma non avevamo alternative dopo aver viaggiato per 1 ora e mezza del 14 Agosto. Abbiamo portato pazienza perche il giorno dopo avremmo potuto godere del nostro vero alloggio... e invece anche il giorno dopo, 15 Agosto, la nostra stanza risultava nuovamente occupata....ci siamo ritrovati senza un'alloggio e il proprietario urlandoci per telefono non si è fatto carico di un problema che aveva creato con la sua cattiva gestione, lasciandoci il giorno di ferragosto in strada. Abbiamo rifatto i bagagli e siamo rientrati a casa inorriditi, delusi . un b&B che va assolutamente CHIUSO, se volete salvarvi le vacanze NON ANDATECI! non fatevi attrarre dal prezzo conveniente! optate a quel punto x un campeggio sarà sicuramente piu igienico.

Reviewed By E1170YWstefaniacPessimo!arrivo in camera e trovo un bagno senza finestra e l aspiratore rotto, al momento della doccia anke lì altra mancanza...il getto d acqua e minimo!frigo non in funzione perché manca la riduzione della spina la televisione guasta e il telecomando appiccicoso x la grossa quantità di materia che esce dove ci sono le batterie!sotto al soffitto ci sono ragnatele e a terra negli angoli grosse quantità di polvere!ovviamente annoterò tutte le foto per dimostrare la mia recensione veritiera!ps il personale non parla italiano quindi è abbastanza difficile comunicare un qualsiasi problema!al risveglio scendiamo giù come concordato e troviamo la porta chiusa a chiave!in pratica la proprietaria dormiva ancora e quindi abbiamo dovuto attendere ANCORA ..poi con tutta tranquillità ci accoglie con il pigiama e noi ovviamente abbiamo rifiutato i caffe perché x la signora la colazione era intesa come caffe e biscottino!cose da pazzi??♀️
