Reviewed By Marius CSince 2014 I have been to this hotel every summer and it was a pleasure. Until the last summer when it was a disaster. Breakfast was as poor as possible. Our towels were stolen from the sunbeds during lunch by the beachboy, the hotel employee! They were thrown into a corner and some north-macedonian tourists were brought to our sunbeds. For a tip of 10 euros! Room cleaning was done only once in 7 days. I gave two stars only for the past years, when were much better. For the disrespectful way we were treated, I think it was the last time I was there. Unfortunately.

Reviewed By tommason274We escaped to Porto Koufo after 5 days in Sarti, where we were overwhelmed by the crowd , the noise, and the low quality of both services and food. We found this amazing spot just in front to the sea, which resembles more a mountain lake than an actual sea beach! The place is superquite, Panos and Barbara are super nice!Plus the snorkeling in porto Koufo is amazing! We would definitely like to come back

Asterias was built in between the mountains and the sea. Behind the hotel you can see the green hills and in front of it you can admire the sea which is 100 meters away. The hotel has 2 floors on which there are 26 rooms, 22 studios and 4 apartments. We have 2 rooms on the ground floor for people with special needs.

Reviewed By PuddyCat99This is quite a belated review as we actually spent 3 nights here in September 2019. We called in on the off chance that they may have rooms available and luckily for us they did! First thing to say is that the family who own the apartments are always around and are an absolute delight. So, so helpful and friendly. All of the rooms face the sea and ours was absolutely spotless. We had a lovely spacious private and well equipped balcony with a sea view. My only negative would be the bathroom which was on the small side, however this too was immaculate. The apartments were perfectly located close to the couple of restaurants in lovely Porto Koufo. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality ❤️.

The owner of the Filaktos Studios has the best fish tavern NIKOS
Reviewed By Julia YThe owner of the Filaktos Studios in Porto Koufo has the best fish tavern NIKOS located just next to it! There we tried really the best octopus and fried calamari in Greece. The owner Nikos has its own boat and goes fishing with it every day. Do not miss to visit the Tavern.
