You can walk from Freising Bahnhof using Google Maps on your phone. I couldn't find the right bus from the station using broken German, maybe get a taxi, but it's only a 20-minute walk. The tour itself is pretty standard, they show you a few small areas where they brew the beer, but it is quite loud and hard to hear the guide even though they speak in English. They do give you a bit of history of the brewery, but you could find that online as well. You can book the tour online but they only accept cash, yet you can use credit card in the restaurant so I don't know why that is. There's a small tasting with 2 beers at the end, are there a lot of souvenirs you can buy also. Overall the tour is okay but not the best I've had. I came here for the beer and the restaurant, both of which were excellent. They only had 2 beers on tap but had plenty of different varieties in bottles, so I tried 5 different types I can't buy back at home, and they were all fantastic. The goulash was pretty amazing. The outdoor beer garden is very relaxing. That's basically why I gave it 5/5, the tour alone is probably a 3 or 4.

We were keen to see this garden, and found it really worthwhile. There were pleasant paths leading to different types of gardens and the plants, in their spring regalia were delightful. We then had coffee in the attached coffee shop. Really good cake and coffee.

You can see why it get very busy with families of locals and tourists. Marienplatz Is simply stunning to see. It is a must see/do for all. It’s been in the city centre sine 1100 centuries, surrounded by multitude of historic buildings. I was lucky enough to be there for Christmas which is truly the best time of the year to see it.
