Not too far away from Myra Ancient City, there is Church St. Nicholas. St. Nicholas was born and the bishop of Patara known as St. Claus (or Sinterklaas in Dutch). Thus East Roman Basilica church is decorated with beautiful vibrant frescoes of life and miracles of St. Nicholas, amazing architecture, and one of UNESCO tentative heritage sites. There is also a broken sarchopagus which was believed to be the first burial of St. Nicholas.

Built in 1870 this St. Paul Church, also known as the Bebekli Kilise, is a Roman Catholic Church in Adana. Obviously from the Roman era. Built as an Armenian Apostolic Church in 1870, and handed over to the Apostolic Vicariate of Anatolia in 1915, after the Ottoman deportation of the city's large Armenian community who had sided with invaders durin WW1 . It is located close to the 5 Ocak Square, off the Cemal Gürsel Caddesi / Street. There is a 2.5 m high bronze statue of Mary resembled a baby to the people walking by and the church became known as the "Church with Baby" ( which is in Turkish Bebekli Kilise). The church currently serves to the Catholic and the Orthodox Community of Adana. The garden of the church is converted into a car parking to raise income for the church.
