Reviewed By Cindy MMy husband and I spent one night here in September of 2018 and wish we had stayed longer. We were driving through the Italian countryside from Florence and reserved a night here in advance. Roberto and Daniela make you feel so welcome. Our upstairs corner room was very neat and clean with beautiful views. It was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed wine on the patio in the afternoon then dined in town later on. In the morning, Daniela made us the perfect cappuccino and served a beautiful breakfast of meats, cheeses and pastries/breads. It was lovely. And very affordable.We loved our time at Country House Parco Ducale and look forward to another (longer) visit one day. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Reviewed By cox01Considering the price it is super!!! The hospitality is poor and that was the only time in our 14 days holliday in Les Marches. The daughter who welcomed us was correct and polite but not warm.The appartments are spotless, old but for this budget you can't expect the finest decoration. The aircon worked perfect. The views are not really nice from the terraces, Or you see a hedge or you see a rather small garden with grass. You can't see the pool from the rooms. The pool has the best views and is really welcome after a day of excursions (Cagli, Borgo Pace and Urbino, all af them half an hour driving) Good, cheap restaurants in the neighbourhood. There is also a communual outdoor kitchen and bbq. There were a lot of Dutch guests!

Paradise in Marche

Located just 2 km outside the city of Urbania, which is a very convenient point for visiting many beautiful places nearby (like Urbino, San Leo...), it is simply marvellous. A beautiful country villa up on a hill (with easy reach from the main road - ca 300m) surrounded by a pretty park-like landscape, endowed with modern equipment (bathroom, sleeping room etc.), a very nice terrace and a great swimming pool (with lounge chairs and umbrellas). It is totally quiet there and you can study the many stars on the sky every evening with a glass of wine (available from the very nice host Stefania). There is a fridge available as well as plates, cutlery etc., if you prefer to have a light snack at lunchtime or in the evening. Urbania offers however a few nice trattorias which you might not like to miss. Stefania will provide you with expert advice on these. Breakfast in La Rosa Tea is excellent with several home-made specialities. WiFi very good. Summa summarum: one of the best agriturismi we have encountered on our many trips to Bella Italia.

A quick winter trip to Urbania

The place is quiet, spotless, very nicely decorated and wonderfully warm, even in very cold weather which was a real consideration for us. We arrived on the eve of the celebrations for Befana, so had a treat indeed! I would certainly recommend this very reasonably priced B&B on the edge of a lovely town.

Great view, great and clean rooms, nice breakfast and Paolo and Elizabeth where friendly and hospitable!! The Marken is beautifull. We went to Urbania, Fermignano, Fano, Catolica, Pesaro and San Marino. A lot of authentic villages in the Hill's around Fox's Hill. The garden by Fox's Hill is peacefull and beatifull. The wonderfull sunsets in the evening were unforgetable!! You must go experience it yourself. We hope to go back another year!

Reviewed By emma1913My husband and I stayed one night at Il Mulino (which unfortunately meant only one dinner!) The house and the rooms were lovely, The husband and wife team that ran the agrotourism were delightful and I very much wish I spoke better Italian and could have really had a conversation with them - they seemed very interesting. It isn't really a restaurant, more like dinner at someone's home, so there aren't choices. But who needs choices? Everything was perfect. And they did make some slight adjustment for dessert for me since I can't eat chocolate. Great for a very memorable meal, great as a place to stay. Just simply great all around.
